A very light and refreshing start to my Sunday. Loved the sweetness of the juicy watermelon slab along with variated flavours of the different tomatoes that added vibrant colours to the plating. My favourite part of this salad would have to be the fried boccacinni cheese. Nothing beats biting into soft cheese. 😋
The only weird thing would have to be when the waitress came up to ask how was my meal. She gave a sort of pause after I said it was ok which led me to ask why she was asking. Her reply was that they wanted to know if the combination of items on the plate worked well together which irritated me a little cos the dish was on the "chef's specials" menu which started me thinking it's a new dish and I was one of their first guinea pigs. Does not feel good to be a guinea pig when paying for a meal. But luckily we were using our Entertainer app and it was sorta 1-for-1.
I'd skip the coffee here if you're a coffee snob. Apart from that, the overall experience was good and the food was satisfying.
