Decked out in murals and bright, flashy furniture, this fun food truck-turned-restaurant surprises diners with Mexican fare that's few and far between in this area. Kick back at Thyme Out with a friend, or a date if you're both up for something messy but delicious. Available here are Cubanos (from RM16), Cuban sandwiches made with artisanal bread and layers of cheese and salsa. Flat and dense, these are a tasty party of flavours in one small, easy bite! Order the Lamb Cubano (RM20) as well as other things with lamb, such as the Classic Tacos (RM7). Burpple Jionghui calls it "a yummy experience, recommended for lamb lovers". There is also a starter of Mexican Egg Rolls or Chimichangas (RM20) that can actually pass as a rather hefty meat-free main. Six pieces of deep-fried egg rolls are stuffed liberally with guacamole, eggs and chives — crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. Yum!
