I am lost for words. Crab was so fresh and succulent...look how the shell falls off so cleanly 💯 . I can't even ... don't think I've had crabs that good in a very long time. Chilli & black pepper 🦀 can go home bc LOOOK. AT. THIS. The bee hoon is fried before being mixed in the sauce giving it an unbearable WOK HEI so strong and smoky fragrance lingers 🔥 . And the gravy😩😩🤤🤤 ... my cholesterol is probably rocketing rn but it was SO rich and sumptuous. If I had to give an extensive definition of umami this would be it 👏. Couldn't stop myself to more serving eventhough my stomach was exploding.
Another interesting dish was the cereal tofu in pumpkin sauce. The tofu was not as soft and creamy as I expected it to be. While the components were yummy and I love a creative rendition of tofu, the flavours did not compliment each other as well as we all hoped 🤔 . Still something to try -
