Brought my dad to Seng House for dinner, it was both of our first time! The ambience was really nice, I think I want to try coming here for brunch with my friends next time, would be a really nice place to just sit and chitchat. We tried the smoked, squid & citrus, hainanese pork chop and fried ice cream & banana cake, accompanied with one of the craft beers, Jing-A mandarin wheat.
All I have to say is that the pork chop is a must try!! The pork was so tender and juicy, the fries were really fresh and had that real potato taste you know (sooo good even without any sauce) and the peas were such a nice side cause they were real sweet and i thought that realy brought the whole dish tgt. Also, i didn't know this until my dad told me, but apparently the pork chop is made using Hokkaido snow pork loin, very oomph 👌🏻 Definitely gna bring my mom here to try the hainanese pork chop soon!
As for the other dishes, the squid was really nice too, i loved the pomelo on top and i've never had anything like it, plus the banana cake was quite moist.
