How can a dish which literally just means ‘Pici, cheese, and pepper’ taste so refined? Bar Cicheti mused me with this delicate dish of hand-rolled, well textured and thick pasta served with a strong aroma of parmigiano and black pepper. The creaminess from the cheese made the dish smooth, with occasional notes of saltiness. The Sarawak black pepper gave this dish an additional layer of flavour. This plate grew on me more and more with every bite I took, and when I reached the finale, I was satisfied, knowing that I’ve finally had an amazing plate of pasta.
