Less than a month old, Paninoteca in Tras Street has the perfect panacea for your post soju and Hite midnight munchies. Taking inspiration from world famous panini bar All’Antico Vinaio in Florence, this charming little space is not only a deli but also serves up freaking delicious sandwiches made from the produce on sale as well.

The NY Brisketti is comfort food for the drunk, with excellent crusty yet light and fluffy bread coddling well-seasoned roast bell peppers,
tartar cream, baby spinach, and saucy as well as tender beef brisket. Crumbs of ricotta added a pleasing salty sharpness to each bite. At close to $17, it’s a little too pricy for everyday dining, but I can’t wait to try their other sandwiches whch are much cheaper.
