Possibly the cheapest main dish you would find at Simply Mamam — comes with toast on the side so you can mop up all that Rendang which you most probably would. The slow-cooked beef was a little dry and tough, but still manageable to work through since it's being cut along the grain, but what I liked here is the intense Lemak-ness that runs through the whole dish; extremely coconut-y and gloopy while carrying a near moderate-level of spiciness which is rather shiok.
