Wanted to love this but it was incredibly fatty, and just a tad too crisp around the edges such that the meat was pretty tough

Been loving these protein packed Dean & deluca salad plates lately. My favourite protein picks are the chicken florentine (bacon wrapped chicken breast stuffed with spinach, cottage cheese, pine nuts & raisins) which is always tender and served hot, and filled with more spinach than anything else, beef brisket in bbq sauce and coconut breaded baked seabass served with mango salsa (not in this particular plate). They also have 7-9 pre prepped salads for you to choose from. Today's pick were tuna quinoa and roasted pear arugula ($19)

The usual darn good and creamy matcha that I've come to expect from curious palette. Think they definitely upped the amount of matcha this time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻($7++)

Finally a rather healthy brunch alternative! Generous portion of seaweed butter salmon (props for the crisp skin while not being overly oily), with yummy veggies (they're the standard ones that come with any grain bowl) ($16++)

Chose original and purple sweet potato waffles, we all agreed the purple sweet potato was nicer as it was a tad more chewy, felt the original was a bit light but both came hot and crisp. Ice cream choices were earl grey (bit too sweet) & strawberry (loved the bits of strawberries in there) $12.90 + $4 for the additional scoop of ice cream

Finally an improvement to the quality. This was decently fresh at least

Toasted mixed grain bun with a large slab of grilled chicken thigh that was served hot and wasn't too oily. Topped with 2 Slices of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, bbq sauce and mayo & served with a side of fries and salad in a really cute vintage box. Definitely insta worthy but also really tasty. Sure preferred this to the pasta!

Loved the teas here! Unique ones blended with fresh herbs like mint leaves or with other Chinese herbs like wolf berries, red dates, liquorice, etc. Definitely not something you'd usually find in cafes.

Served warm, the cauliflower was nicely roasted and tasted similar to baked potatoes. Thumbs up for this one! Simple veggie goodness!

While I liked the pan seared scallop and Al dente linguine, felt the sauce was way too thick, creamy and salty. Had to dilute with water for it to be edible. Unfortunately wasn't a fan of this though I normally love anything mentaiko

A very simple dish that seems a tad overpriced for the ingredients used. Baked avocado with egg yolks, bacon, sourdough toast and a side salad.

A juicy homemade beef patty (this was thick and generous with the amount of meat), fried eggs, avocado, tomato, cheddar, Sautéed onions and truffle mayo in a soft brioche bun. Loved the burger, not so much the fries - which did come pipping hot and crisp but seemed saturated in oil
