Good servings, about 300g from what I could remember. A tad bit tough on the outside for me. Good for sharing.

It's been awhile I last visited Seng Kee and they literally have taken over the entire street. The long queue moves very fast and you'll be with your favorite mee sua, chao tah bee hoon and har jeong gai all within 30min on a Sunday night. Great place to bring your parents to. Pro-tip: free parking at some abandoned lot opposite the restaurant.

Come here if you like quality, comfort and really good collagen hot pot! It's good even after the soup refills. Great to bring your families. I really like their fish/ prawn/ meat balls and paste. Make reservations a week ahead.

I'm always hoping that there's something more exciting around the Serangoon mrt area. After finding this promising place on Burpple, I decided to make the short walk to the Teck Chye Terrace stretch. The Tom Yum here goes all out to impress. Generous servings of prawns, mussels, fish, mushrooms and squid seats around a large flame. The flame was largely for show, because I felt it would taste even better hotter. Nonetheless, the soup was really good. A good place for weekend family dinners!

If you're looking for a meat dish to complement your meal with your parents, look no further! The tenderness of the meat and depth of flavors really stood out. Although I think the white carrots could be softer. Centrepoint lacks the foot traffic during the weekdays (just a few tables on a Thu night), it was filled on a Saturday night.

A good choice for family gatherings with ample parking all around. The crab was fresh and flavorful. Went very well with the vermicelli, light pepper and garlic. Pro-tip: if you've 4-6 pax, order 2 small crab vermicelli rather than going for the medium or large options. This way, you get 2 whole crabs and more vermicelli.

First review! My favorite dish of the night. Bones were tender and with the right amount of fat. A comfortable place for weekend family dinners.

If you're looking for recommendations beyond the regular Har Gow and Siew Mai, this is it. Hidden within the light beancurd skin is a mash of yam, meat, seafood and a tone of flavor. You'll love every mouth of it when soaked in the rich, bright broth. Must order!

If you're looking for a comfortable place that serves quality food for a family celebration, Peach Garden at Thomson plaza fits the bill. The highlights of this 6 course meal are the Roasted Pork Cubes, Double Boiled Black Chicken Soup and Soon Hock fish. Definitely filling!

Haven't been here for 10 years and business seems good! Full house on a Saturday night, this place is popular for organizations/ family gatherings. The size of the crabs and the sauce were the most enjoyable part of the meal.
