No Waffling About Waffles

Waffles topped with lemon curd, meringue, vanilla ice-cream and slivers of lemon rind. This had good robust zesty flavours that balanced the sweetness of the meringue. Really refreshing after a heavy meal too!

Really yummy! Yeasted waffles were topped with beautifully caramelized bananas, walnuts, vanilla ice-cream, delicate shards of burnt sugar, and a side of maple syrup. Waffles weren't as fluffy as I'd have liked them, but they were light and crisp.

Besides the mini marshmallows, this did not really remind me of s'mores. The waffles here were crunchier than the taro and red velvet waffles though! This came with a sweet creamy sauce, reminiscent of melted marshmallows so I'll give it to them. We chose the Earl grey ice-cream to have with this, and the ice-cream was good. It had a prominent Earl grey flavour! :)

Like the Taro Waffles, the waffles here were nice and crisp, and really fragrant as well. They were drizzled with a really yummy cream cheese sauce that had a hint of coconut milk. Yum!

Very fragrant waffles topped with blobs of taro paste and drizzled with a vibrant purple taro sauce. The waffles are good. Light and crisp, and fluffy inside. This comes with a scoop of ice-cream - we chose the salted caramel flavour, which was alright but not impressive.

So late but I finally tried this! Waffle was good, crisp outside and soft on the inside. It paired well with the sea salt gula melaka soft serve that I picked. The fragrance of coconut was delightfully prominent in the soft serve, and it was not overly salted. It melted really quickly though, as soft serves do :( I'm also happy to say that the chocolate sauce and honey on the plate were not only pretty, but tasty too :)

Update on the waffle: It isn't so nice now! :((((((((((((((((( I am majorly upset cause it used to be my favourite. Today's waffle was crisp, but it was too burnt and tasted bitter. Lacked the fluffiness inside that I so adored too. The generous lashings of salted caramel and ice-cream failed to salvage it. I really, really hope it's a one-off. :(

Really love the salted caramel here. Yum! Waffles are still as crisp and fluffy, always freshly made and served warm. :)

This is the kind of waffle I like - crisp on the outside, very fluffy on the inside yet not too airy. Rum and bananas were so good, I'm surprised other cafes aren't serving this combination yet!

This waffle is crisp on the outside and REALLY fluffy and light inside! Paired with really good quality vanilla ice-cream (with visible specks of vanilla bean) and a delicious salted caramel sauce that is the perfect balance of sweet and savoury... It's waffle heaven! 😋
