Good Food Around The Neighborhood

I'm sure everyone has seen this before. Able to choose your own ingredients and pair it up with your bee Hoon. But since I have my prawn noodles, so no beehoon this time! My favourite is the red thing in the middle - sausage / 贯肠 . All the ingredients were good, chilli sauce is awesome. But i felt that it was a little too oily. I could squeeze out some oil before dipping it into the chilli sauce. But on an overall aspect, it's really pretty yum! 😋😋😋

I always adore prawn noodles, but what I look for is the broth. Then I must say, this broth - really good! Thick and flavourful. Generous serving of 3 pieces of prawns (they are pretty huge, not those tiny ones). I never liked yellow noodles but I found it well-cooked - springy and just right! I wish I could just have the soup & the prawns right now~ 😌

Finally it's opened in the West! And it's my first time trying it. Now I finally know why people crave so much for it. It's really delicious. It's just a little salty but I must say I really love the spicy ones! It's pretty spicy and it give the kick "OOPMH" feeling when the taste lingers in my taste buds. Hehe. On the other hand, the kimchi fries were a disappointment. It didn't taste kimchi-ish enough. It made me feel like it's just some Cajun fries instead. Should have opt for seaweed flavour. But I'll love to have the chicky wings again! 😋 nomnom, and YUMYUM to the tum~

I can't rmb the stall's name but I thought this plate of $3.50 noodles is worth mentioning. I'm really quite picky when it comes to whether the food is really good. This plate didn't disappoint me. It's full of gravy (I love) and the chilli is good (chilli lovers, you know how impt chilli is to the food!) each mouthful just makes me wanna eat more and more:) not too bad, but I do hope I can find even better hokkien mee out there! Do recommend me if you have any good ones! 😄

This stall is beside the Ngee Fou restaurant, right beside. I always love the curry fish head here and the duck meat! The curry fish head is spicy enough and I think the owner added in a few slices of Assam which makes the dish more appetizing to savour. Not to mention as well, they have a generous serving of vegetables in it! As for the duck meat, its taste was just right, not too salty not too bland. The meat was tender and easy to chew. I esp love the chilli sauce where it's a combination of 2 types of chilli. Just situated in a simple place, it just told me that you don't need to head to a 6-star hotel for really good food 😌😋
