Northern eats in sg
Facing a chinese style pavilion on the edge of the market hawker centre, Sun flower noodle house is run by an elderly chinese couple who are friendly and surprisingly fast for their age.
This is the CHEAPEST loh mee I have come across in Sg at 2.50 only. Usually comes with half an egg as well.
Taste wise i would rate it 4/5 stars. i have mine without vinegar and all to really taste the sauce. the really memorable thing is the excellent meat. most places have bland meat and make it up with a strong sauce, here the meat stands out on its own and blends in well with the lor. Also has added slices of sweetened tau kee which makes this one of a kind.
Dont expect fried fish or any sort of fancy chicken cutlet, but they are generous with the toppings and the bowl has some heft.
For almost half the price of any other outlet in the city ,there isnt much to complain about. value for money :5/5
