Review: Let's not kid ourselves shall we. This plate may have more vegetables and no pork lard in it but it ain't no salad. The funny thing is, I actually enjoyed it more than the usual plate I get around my place. There was crunch from the vegetables and the sauce was mildly sweet and not too oily. Portion size is on the smaller side so do get the $4 portion if you're feeling hungry.

Review: What you get is a large plate of various spiced ingredients such as fried potato ball, brinjal, cuttlefish and so on all doused in a delicious Chilli paste that gets your blood and tummy pumping hard in no time. Portion size was generous and check out that bowl of chicken curry (you can opt for beef too) which was the highlight for me. Chicken was tender and the curry was fragrant and plentiful. I couldn't quite believe I only paid $7.50 for the amount of satisfaction and fullness at the end of the meal. Highly recommended for Malay food lovers!

To be honest pasta is such a cheap ingredient the value of pastas lies in the freshness and balance of the ingredients as well as the texture of the pasta itself. I'm not a fan of Sakura Ebi but it does add some degree of crunch which was welcome. The price is actually quite reasonable for a moderate portion and some healthy sized prawns. I would definitely go for more garlic but nonetheless still a satisfying meal. I've had much worse at much higher prices.

I'm late to the kkc craze that has once dominated/annoyed the feeds of many Singaporeans!
+ Noodles were really springy with a firm texture, one of the better ones I've had in a long time
+ That chilli, woo!
+ Tasty soup, better than your usual bland msg soup.
- Not much ingredients there for 5 bucks.
- Could have more side dishes to boost up the fare.

They say you are what you eat. I love eggs and potatoes. What gives?
