Looking for a fresh & zesty waffle? Go for the lemon & white chocolate sundae and opt for the additional buttermilk waffle! The Tahitian vanilla ice cream was light and refreshing, the lemon jelly added a nice tang, the cornflake crumble added nice texture and the waffle wasn't too heavy or soggy. Happy belly! $14 for the sundae and an additional $5 for the waffle.
I went back, hoping to be able to taste the Lemon Meringue eclair but alas... It was not meant to be. Ordered 4 eclairs (from the top): Roasted Pistachio Strawberry, Banana Walnut Crumble, Matcha Azuki and Tahitian Vanilla and Pecan ($30). Good for sharing as each eclair is pretty sizeable! Belly & tastebuds enjoyed the Tahitian Vanilla & Pecan the most.
Nestled in the second floor of SOTA is K-ki, an understated cafe that serves delicate yummy cakes. Indulged in the Matcha Cheesecake and Peanut Butter Banana Cheesecake - both were light, not too sweet nor cloying, just right and hit brought me to happy belly town! Dessert craving satiated!
Got the 2 Eclair Set: S$16 for 2 eclairs of your choice and a tea - went with the Jasmine Matcha Eclair, Hazelnut *something* Eclair & Momo tea. The Jasmine Matcha Eclair was yummy, rich matcha flavour without being too creamy or overpowering. The Hazelnut Eclair was a tad... Forgettable. The Momo Tea was however, fragrant and complements the sweets pretty well. A bit of a hit & miss for me but hey, makes cute pictures! đ
Read about it, saw the shop front - totally been waiting to try it. Maybe there was too much hype... But tummy left slightly disappointed. Pretty as the plate was, tastebuds were somewhat confused by the flavours. đ
