WOK HEI: Yes!

FRIED PORK LARD: NOPE :(

PRAWNS: 4 + squid

TYPE OF NOODLES: Yellow mee and thin beehoon

TYPE OF CHILLI: Not the belachan kind I like. But still very nice, fragrant and compatible

REMARKS:
- The opeh leaves seriously make a difference! The fragrance is infused into the noodles
- This was cooked by the father; the young man appeared to be on reservist

WILL WE RETURN? YES. Need to try the young man's cooking.

PRICE: $5 for the small portion (used to be $4 in 2018)

WAIT TIME: 18 min during weekday lunchtime
(Had no idea it'd be that long a wait cos there wasn't a queue.)

WOK HEI: Not really

TYPE OF NOODLES: Yellow mee and thin beehoon

TYPE OF CHILLI: Chilli in soy sauce. Not the belachan kind I like.

WOK HEI: OFF THE CHARTS. Never has there been a hokkien prawn mee with a stronger wok hei. NEVERRR.

CHILI: The wrong kind though. A total mismatch.

NOODLES TYPE: Yellow mee + thin bee hoon
(The amount of noodles in this $6 plate is honestly very little)

FRIED PORK LARD: Yes. But already soggy. Not crispy or crunchy.

Also comes with sotong and a lot of egg.
No pork belly.

PRICE: XS Hokkien Mee $5 + 10% service charge

WAITING TIME: Slightly more than 5 minutes on a weekday at 3.30pm

PRAWNS: 2 extra small ones

PORK LARD: YES. Really crunchy. Loved it.

CHILLI: Really, really mild. Not the perfect chilli complement.

REMARKS:
- Not our top three favourite hokkien prawn mee

WAITING TIME: Almost 10 minutes on a Friday night

PRAWNS: 3 big ones

CHILLI: The right kind for me. Pity it's not spicy enough

WAITING TIME: Erm. The beeper sounded about two minutes after placing our order. Probably heated up from the previous batch, not cooked to order.

CHILLI: Spicy. Compatible.

WOKHEI: Not as much as when we had it previously

NOODLES: Thick yellow and white beehoon

FRIED PORK LARD: No :(

- Creamy, wet, flavourful

WILL WE RETURN? Yes, if we happen to be in this part of Singapore.

- not exactly very flavourful; on the bland side
