Tea King Ice-cream ($1.90)
King Fone ($5.50)
.
Satisfied with @heytea tea based ice cream especially at that unbelievable price-point right in the heart of clark quay. Smooth and creamy, the portion size was just right if I’m looking for a cold dessert but and full from dinner. The cheezo tea was a little disappointing for me. The cheese foam was just a little too savory and not as smooth as KOI’s and didn’t quite flow with the tea when sipping.

Thai Milk Tea Pudding ($5.50)
.
Wiggly jiggly epitome of wobbly @uykdsg , this pudding is smooth with an intense Thai milk tea flavour. Fantastic dessert after all the amazing spicy food.

Waffles & Ice-cream (~$18)
.
Another great deal from #burpplebeyond @twentygrammes to get 1-for-1 waffles. Loved the crisp yuan yang waffles, a combination of original and charcoal. Ice cream flavours were also aplenty and interesting. I personally enjoyed the seasalt caramel and black sesame ice cream. The only thing I stayed away from was the rather powdery salted egg sauce. The ice-cream and waffle combo was satisfying enough!

Cremino Morettino ($4.50)
.
An alternative to traditional ice-cream dessert, try this ice cold coffee cream from @morettino100am . Think ultra smooth velvety cream infused with coffee that isn’t too heavy or overly sweet. Definitely Perfect for a coffee break on a warm day.

Yuxu Honey ($8.80)
.
Newly opened @baristartcoffee_sg has been quite the talk of the town with its cutesy shaved ice desserts. Decided to detract from main stream and tried this yuxu honey. Cream cheese mousse, honey jelly, yuxu sorbet, vanilla ice cream, raspberry sauce, berries and whipped cream. A well balanced dessert that comprised different textures with every scoop.

Kueh Salat ($6)
.
2nd attempt to buy a slice of kueh salat @milkmoonssg . This cake/kueh is just perfect in every respect. Beautifully sliced, pandan kaya to blue pea glutinous rice ratio on point, Sweetness level just nice. Glorified and hipsterdized yes but so worth the try. Also try the top voted glutinous rice with coconut and chicken floss ($5). Strong aromatic at work here from the floss to be eaten together with the glutinous rice ball

Tiramisu ($14.90)
.
Voted online as one of the top 10 tiramisu available, @dapaolosg ’s Tiramisu really lives up to its name. The soaked sponge full of kahlua, the not overly sweet cream and the coffee flavour which was present but not overbearing. The layers worked like magic and this box of seemingly large portion of tiramisu was wiped clean in minutes!

Kinder Bueno with Almonds ($5)
.
Although these babies from @brotherbirdmilkncrossiants are priced rather steeply for their size, I would highly recommend these if one is in an indulgent mood. The texture of the mochi croissant are as expected, slightly chewy but with a very flaky exterior. The chopped almonds and the icing cream on top paired with the hazelnut cream centre makes “Kinder Bueno” an apt name. Whilst I did find this a tad too sweet, I felt it went well with some hot unsweetened tea for balance.

Waffles & Double Scoop ($11.50)
.
Freshly made fluffy and crispy waffles served with double scoop ice-cream and maple syrup @wimbly_lu_tyrwhitt . We picked the rum & raisin and chocolate for our ice-cream flavours. Love the smooth consistency and density of the ice-cream. The flavours were also rich, especially for the chocolate.

Expresso Roll ($4.50)
.
Can’t resist a cream filled swiss roll @thepound_sg . Pity the earl grey was out so opted for the expresso. Soft pillowy sponge and not too sweet cream filling, really not bad imo except the expresso flavour could have been stronger. Latte ($5.50) was milky and not too acidic.

Chilli Crab Lava Cookie with Bread Toast Ice-cream ($10.90)
.
After bidding goodbye to @Creamery_sg ‘s ondeh ondeh lava cookie with milo dinosaur ice-cream, say hello to Creamery’s first savoury cookie inspired by one of our top local favourites, the chilli crab (available only till end August)! The chilli crab lava is true to its taste, carrying strong savoury notes but without too much heat to overcomplicate the dish. The sweetness of the ice-cream has also been played down with the bread toast ice-cream mimicking mantous. Aside from the cookie, this is essentially mantou with chilli crab dip in dessert form. While I recognize the thoughts in the creation, it is definitely an acquired taste but is still worth a shot this National Day!

Mentaiko Softserve ($6.90)
.
Venturing into savoury softserve now @matchayasg with their latest mentaiko flavour. It’s an interesting experience and the savoury notes was just right for me. I did however find the mentaiko sprinkles a little too much to handle. Last chance to chek this out before the flavour rotates again!
