A not so hidden cafe that nestled in Happy Mansion under flats. You don't have to worry with the parking problems as there are plenty of them in front of the cafe. Kam Heong Chicken Sandwich (RM22), not really a kam heong fans but can't denied their sauce is quite authentic. Worth to try if you never makan before. Achar Sandwich (RM20), was get attracted because of comments from others when they emphasize 'plenty of onions' ! And it is good as what people told. It might not looking good as what it shows but I bet you should try it if you love onions 👌🏼 their cold brew can be either with milk and sugar or just black. In frame: Cold Brew with milk and sugar. Love the texture of the cold brew but still prefer the black one.

Kakatoo Cafe serve plenty of local dishes. Their sweet & sour chicken rice (RM14.90) with crispy texture of chicken, sauce is just good, an eggs over easy, some keropok, and a little bit of salad. In terms of texture, it's not like the usual sweet and sour chicken that you can eat out there. Not really like the texture but in terms of portion, surely they feel the customers well.

Kakatoo cafe is the nyonya and western fusion that nestled in Ativo Plaza, Bandar Sri Damansara. The tasting Platter (RM40.90), a good choice for an appetizer that can be share with a big group, served with some local side dishes such as otak otak (spicy), curry samosa, satay chicken, chicken lobak, fried tofu and kerabu mango. Otak otak is a little bit too spicy for me, but in terms of texture, it's more like fried tofu to me. Curry samosa is my favorite. Crispy on the outside, plus the sweetness of the curry actually makes me want to eat more. Their satay chicken is not oily like you can eat at the stall out there, but I'm still prefer those grill with charcoal. Chicken lobak is exactly taste like what we have during Chinese wedding. Although it always full house during lunch hour or dinner time, the restaurant have provide plenty of seats.

Chicken teriyaki sandwich (RM18) that filled up with massive amount of mushrooms, teriyaki sauce and chicken on sandwich. In terms of taste, it's actually basic teriyaki sauce that you can get it from those Japanese shop. But if you are mushroom lover, I strongly recommend that you should try this. The texture of the sandwich might be a little bit of hard. However, can't denied that it is very filling. Recommend to share with your buddies. Cappuccino (RM10) was cheap compare with other cafes. Parking might be difficult here, especially during working hours.

Haraju Cube is famous with toast and this is very well-known among people. Their new Mango Coco Toast (RM32.90) with coconut ice cream, mango jelly and mango cubes as their topping. Toast is still awesome as it used to be, but a little bit of disappointing is because the sweetness of mango had cover the taste of coconut ice cream. The portion is still big, recommend to share with your friends. Their mango frozen is too sweet to my preference. However, their cheese tarts are really good. On the side note, do you know that they are the first cafe that launch cheese tarts even earlier than P brand or TS brand? To me, I think their cheese tarts are like lava cheese tarts in terms of texture, satisfying one especially when served warm. You definitely want to try it. Recommend to order a cup of coffee if you feel too sweet, it'll balance your tastebud.

Another new cafe at Tropicana Avenue, which is same place with Terracotta Cafe & Boutique. The cafe is quite easy to be seen as it is facing to the road. HAPP the flower cafe, which literally serving coffee, cakes, some pastries and flowers. The environment of the cafe is filled with blissful vibes and photogenic corners, which is quite enjoyable yet peaceful space for cafe hoppers. Probably it is still new around neighborhood, most of the people just passing by without walking in. Cakes in frame: Camomile Honey Cake (RM16) (front) and Summer (RM16) which are the best seller. The Camomile Honey Cake not only cute as how it looks but also nice to eat. The whole cake is edible, from the bee to honeycomb, which is made of white chocolate, cream on top and a vial of rich honey. Summer (the cake in red) is tasty too, featuring raspberry, strawberry and pistachio cake as base. However the texture is quite creamy. Would prefer more pistachio cake based on my own preference, due to the cake is 80% of creamy part and 20% of pistachio base. Both of the cakes are not that sweet, but it is preferable to be share with each other. We also ordered hazelnut latte (RM11) and Cappuccino (RM10). Moreover, they also serving frappucino, teas and soft drinks. Currently open daily from 10am to 11pm.

A new soft baked cookie place that can fix your craving that located at Sunway Nexis. To be specific, it is actually same row with Rimba & Rusa and in front of Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum. Their cookies are classified with Classic (RM2 per pc), Classic Deluxe (RM2.50 per pc), Volcano (RM3 per pc) and Volcano Deluxe (RM3.50 per pc), which I think it is very affordable and tasty to those who love soft baked cookies. They also having their grand opening promotion, which is buy 6 cookies to get 6 free and the promotion is valid until 14th January 2017. If you missed the promotion, they also provide The Box Pack to support your cookies party, which are The Six Pack (Buy 5 free 1) and The Dozen (Buy 9 free 3). Definitely a good opportunity to have some tidbits during your party. They also serving ice cream sandwich (choice of cookies and ice creams) and also some value meals (A puff, a cookie and a cup of fountain drink) that price from rm9.50 to rm13.50 only if you feel want to get some hot food. Beverage in frame: Cappucino (RM7). They also serving milkshakes (from RM8), frappes (from RM9) and fountain drinks (from RM4). In my opinion I think it is a good place to chill or enjoying your own moment, plus the place is really near to MRT Surian, which is very convenient for people to reach the place.

It used to be a hidden gem at PJ Palms Sports Center. After their signatures pancakes and nice interior design was blogged through social media, the cafe is quite discoverable and always full after awhile. To those who never been there before, it's actually take 5-8 minutes away from Taman Jaya LRT station. Was decided to pay them a visit after they had their renovation. They expanded their shop and made the outdoor space to indoor so the customers can enjoy air con with natural lighting. Food in frame: Jam & Kaya's Pancake Signature (RM16) which stack with jam and kaya, fresh berries and Vanilla ice cream. Was a little bit of disappointed when tasted the ice cream is kinda from Nestle. But was glad that the strawberries are sweet. Coffee: Cappucino (RM9.60). It is still good as it used to be. They had increased all the prices of the food compare with my last visit.

Other than their signature pork rib, their chicken is nice to eat too. Portion is big yet tasty. Their fries are even nicer compare with the normal steakhouse. However, the cafe was full house during my visit. Serving staffs are all foreigners and not friendly. And also there are only a small alley for cars to park behind the cafe, which makes me feel insecure. Location is not strategic enough. Kinda disappointed. But still, food is good.

A good place for shaved ice dessert. Located at Taman Paramount, which just next to Awesome Canteen. Maybe due to it is still new in town, it quite crowded during my visit. Food in frame: Watermelon purée (RM17) which didn't contain any artificial coloring but only berries, floral fragrance of rose espuma and watermelon. Quite refreshing during hot weather.

I heard they are having the best softserve among all the softserve shop in town. Although I'm not trying all the softserve in town but this one is scrumptious. The green colour softserve is actually their Matcha Parfait (RM15.90) and the brown colour softserve is their Hojicha tea ice cream (RM6.90 for mini-cups). Both are good in terms of flavours and textures. Anyway, remember to have instant-print Instagram photo for FREE ! What you have to do is just take photo in PS Tokyo, hashtag #pstokyo, check in location and post on Instagram. Will definitely go back again to try their other signatures.
