Tried this crab special, which came with a lot more crab than I anticipated. It was finished off with a blowtorch, which lent a layer of complexity to the delicious porridge I made after my meal.
Authentic and delicious stews, with great banchans. Very, very small portion of meat though.
Delicious, but very very spicy. Also more carbohydrate than protein (2 pieces of scallops and 2 prawns?).
Combo set is okay, but honestly the drinks are subpar and there’s more meat in the roll than in the actual lobster. Mushroom side is so so, go for the fries instead.
Had the ebi patty. Not a huge fan of tonkotsu, since it gets dry and plain tasting fairly quickly. Good quality rice, delicious miso soup. Food was pretty expensive.
Very high quality meat, decent soup base. Good service (assuming you can get their attention). Was intending to use Burpple but they already had a 1 for 1 Japanese pork promotion.
Ordered the chicken thigh, Japanese bean sprouts, sautéed mushrooms and broccoli and cauliflower stir fry.
So yummy. Seems a little pricey but good value for money, and the Japanese green tea is pretty delicious too.
Wintermelon shaved ice (so smooth) with aiyu jelly, pudding and grass jelly.
Halfway through I didn't know what I was eating but it was surprisingly good anyway. The grass jelly is delicious.
Pancetta ham, asparagus, mushroom and cream sauce ($7.90). Fresh tasting, but got a bit boring after a mouthful.
Soba, salmon, wild mushrooms, bean sprouts, tomatoes ($16)
Fresh food that tastes homemade.
