Lunch Places

Normally we order the same few dishes of seafood hor fun, fish head bee hoon, prawn paste chicken and tofu. It's what I had growing up and has the same familiar taste everytime I go. It's pretty tasty food!

It might be pretty expensive to pay $6 for a common mee pok dish. But I do think that this is pretty value for money with the abalone slices, good prawn in soup and the many other ingredients of lean meat and veggies as well. The noodles are a tad tougher than normal mee pok noodles but somehow taste more fresh and handmade. We also ordered the kailan and there was a generous amount of pork lard on it. The pork lard was 👍👍👍

All I can say it is a good plate of chicken rice with the right sauces and condiments. But many other places have good chicken rice too😅😅 Sadly it ain't mindblowing to justify the price!

We ordered the Hae Bee Hiam Pasta, Truffle Carbonara, Rotisserie Chicken and Pullled Pork burger. You should skip the chicken as it was tough and pretty normal tasting. Pulled pork burger was not bad. The star dishes are definitely the pastas! Personally I like the Hae Bee Hiam pasta as it has a nice spicy savoury kick which fits well with aglio alio. Truffle carbonara was well done too with just right truffle flavour and creaminess so we wouldn't get sick of it after a few mouthfuls. I do think this is quite a nice place to go with a group of girlfriends to sit and chat. Oh but the coffee wasn't that great so just stick to regular iced water

I tried this place due to it being on Burpple Beyond. Frankly the food is pretty standard but taste homecooked in a way. Like my mum can make it you know. We tried the chicken, duck confit, beetroot pancake and breakfast set. Probably if you live around the area, it is a good place to drop by with your friends. But I wouldn't travel all the way for it

Interesting dish to try!! But after a while, it got a bit jelak to eat. The portion is pretty big though so I recommend sharing with a friend so you have space for desserts

Pretty disappointed as the duck confit was way too salty

I am not sure if delivery counts but I thought for standard of delivery this was not bad. I ordered the prawn angel hair pasta and the flower pot dessert

I never really liked ordering chicken in restaurants as it is the cheapest meat. My friend tried the oyakodon the first time I went there and I was blown away by how good it was. I went there a second time again specially to have it. All their other foods such as the okonomiyaki, gyoza, tempura bowls, etc. are good too

It doesn't taste like meat and it is just a great veggie burger on its own. The good thing about veggie burgers is that you wouldn't feel guilty or bloated eating it but I still prefer meat in my burger 😅😅

Hidden joint at Tanjong Katong Road. Great pastas and pizzas. I recommend choosing their signautures. We also had the squid ink pasta which was 👍👍👍

Always love the cakes here!! And very value for money with Burpple Beyond. My favourite cake is the Sesame one!!
