Good portions, still pretty well done. Go for the rice over noodles. Add a plate of mixed meat (char siew, roast pork & duck) for $10. (7.2/10)

Go for their buffet priced at $24.90 for weekdays (Sunday is considered a weekday!). Super affordable but please don’t expect the world. There’s enough variety on their buffet menu. Get the mid wings. They also offer a beer buffet for an addition of $29.90. (6.8/10)

Opened for about a few months. The set comes with a miniature chawanmushi starter. Felt the batter was a tad too heavy. Definitely had better. (6/10)

Ice Cream (S$5.90)
Topup S$1 for Mystery Flavour of the week - Umeshu
Available at @matchayasg
Made with Choya Umeshu Honey Fruit liquor.
Smooth and not too sweet. Hint of alcoholic but not enough to burn.

This place serves beer and healthier food! What a good mix. Ordered the steak quinoa bowl. 50% off 2nd mains for lunch. So that’s a good deal. Good flavors and good portions, you should be full after the mains. Value for money. (7.4/10)

Combining 2 of my favourite flavours, this softserve comes with kinako powder garnished atop, enhancing the roasted flavour with a pleasant lingering aroma. Imagine a lighter version of houjicha flavour, a subtle roasted, earthy note amidst the smooth and creamy treat with a lingering, roasted aroma of kinako that kicks in gradually. Two distinct flavours yet sharing a similar flavour profile with their characteristic roasted notes, the end result was one that had a 2 dimensional flavour to the palate, though it’s definitely not for hardcore houjicha lovers 😅 .

The tendons are okay, but it can’t quite compare to the ones served at tendon. Good hiding place from the busy CBD, but seats fill up quite quickly over lunch.

Their sushi menu is really worth it! $38/ $68/ $98 options. Go for $68 if you want to leave satisfied without the uni. (8.5/10)

Decided to come here after reading more about it on Burpple. Got the number 13 special ramen - listed as one of the chef recommendation. Broth is bright and rich, and love the springy yellow noodles! (7.9/10)

Matcha Latte 🍵 ($5) taste a bit sweeter aftertaste and a bit of matcha and milk taste flow through the latte. I prefer not too sweet but put more matcha can bring out bitter taste.

The food at marche hasn’t really changed since 10 years ago. The favorites are still the rosti, crepes and root beer. Thought the ribeye steak was pretty worth it at $23.90. It was pretty okay. (7/10)
