Nonya flavour shouldn't be a thing...but as a sucker for laksa spices and fried chicken, I gave it a shot and surprised that I liked it! :D

Maybe it was the busy crowd or maybe it was that strange cold spell in Singapore during mid-Dec...but the dish didn't serve up as piping hot as usual and that's why it wouldn't get 5 stars.

Came here to celebrate Thanksgiving..

This place is missing good and cheap beer like Guinness :p
Wing Wednesday are an amazing deal but take note their sauces cost $2 / cup outside of the regular Buffalo sauce

P.S. wings are also best eaten with hands, not fork and knife :p

OMNIPORK is the best! Plant-based meat by Beyond Food, must try!
Best part is dont have to pay premium price for healthy/vegan food that tastes good.
$18 for omnipork penne aglio olio :)
Curried Beyond™ Beef Pizza at $26...comparatively less shiok and less value for money

Great darts bar, with open concept for karaoke...but only limited air-fried snacks and cup noodles for food

First time eating chicken rice burger. Always thought someone should make this...closest Ive tried was Mos Burger. Almost wanted to make it myself, but finally now there's Hawker QSR! Any idea what's QSR stand for?
Chicken rice burger verdict:
For a kuey png lover, it sounds much better than it tastes. Doesnt tastes bad, just thinking why do I need chicken rice burger when there is real good chicken rice. Maybe its for tourists...
Also, tourist pricing! Costs about $9, too expensive for chicken rice dish and too expensive for what's touted as fast food.
Still, worth 1 try! Good thing is its on food panda and also opens till midnight at esplanade :)

Orgo is a beautiful rooftop hidden bar and restaurant known for 'organic chemistry'. They have many unique cocktails including chilli padi watermelon martini. Their food menu is sufficient and includes starters seen here - Hummus Pockets, with chickpeas, garlic, beets, jalapeño and of course pita bread ($14).
Highly recommend for date night!

Earlier the mains were average, but dessert...delightful! As with all churros, could do with wayyy more chocolate, but the pecan pie was really generously nutty and paired w interesting tequila ice cream (cant taste the tequila but the ice cream went really well tgt w the nuts).

Pricey, but I guess that's cost of prime location (chijmes) and cute decor (colourful table and chairs at the alfresco side).
Must use entertainer app!

Because it is hamburger steak beef bolognaise pasta burger! Omg...I like to try new things so when I glimpsed at this new offering by Mos Burger I didn't think twice.
-Tastes simple in a good way
-not all noodle/ramen/pasta burgers work, but this turns out decent
-very slightly challenging to eat, especially takeaway, might need a fork or spoon to finish everything. If you are fine w missing out some minced beef or slight messiness, then no worries
-value for money enough, especially with fast food in Singapore increasingly becoming almost premium food

This arome pasta is worth a try, below $10! Comes w onsen egg, bento, angel hair etc. Next time I'll order the appetiser one tho (small at $5.90), so I can order other liao!

Can't remember the Thai name of this noodles...but its basically ba chor mee (both dry and soup options) on steroids (flavour-wise)
Shiok!
Only gripe is the fishball not outstanding la
$6+... Maybe not the most value for money but the serving is more than the usual bcm in food centres for sure

Good options for Thai desserts including this "chendol" and mango sticky rice. Super affordable here! Also extremely comfortable and clean with aircon :D
