Hungry and missing a lovely bowl of wagyu beef Don 😋😍🤩 medium rare yummy beef nicely charred on the side sitting around onsen egg, with generous amount of black truffle sprinkle and truffle slice, and tasty gravy - I don't usually eat fast but I gobbled down this bowl in less than 20 mins. It's time for unagi!! 😋🍱🍽️ We've been wanting to try Man Man Unagi Rice for a while but have always been pushing it back, finally tried it last night!! I've come across some reviews saying it's not good enough because you don't see it prepared there and thus a bit lacking, and there's certain sacrifice of taste to be expected since you don't queue up that long. It's probable they managed to lower my expectations and I found the unagi really nice!! 😋😍 I ordered the Duo outlet specialty's Large Hitsumabushi of two kinds of unagi: one is Tokutoku Kabayaki (seasoned with Unagi sauce) and another is Tokutoku Shirayaki (broiled and seasoned with salt). I found both to be quite good 😆 This set boasts three ways of eating, one is to just eat directly, second is to mix with certain sauces or spices, third is to mix rice and unagi with dried fish soup. I liked the unagi rice on its own or dipped with gravy and sauces, and when mixed with soup, it's really good too, just like unagi congee / porridge 😆😂😂 Oh and it's quite fun to grate your own wasabi 😆
Pity they still don't accept reservation, but if you go in smaller groups it's easier to get seats including street facing counter seats 😁😁
