$5

Quite a big portion for popiah. Subtle salted yolk taste.

$3.50

I prefer this as this has more crunchy vegetables. A interesting twist to the normal popiah.

Sushi popiah ($3.5)

Salted egg prawns popiah ($5)

Yong tau fu with chee cheong fun, great combination! 👍🏻 The sweet and chilli sauce with sesame seeds taste so good. 🤤 Soup is very good too! Worth my time queuing.

📍Richie’s Crispy Puff

Curry chicken puff, indeed very crispy! But I prefer Old Chang Kee 😆

I was searching for it in Tanglin Halt Market but to no avail. Actually it’s at Tanglin Halt Food Centre which is 3min walk away. I ordered thunder tea brown rice ($4 - has chopped veggies, tofu, ikan bilis, peanut, soup is lightly bitter but wholesome and hearty) and the handmade yong tau fu which are filled generously with minced meat/fish paste (1 each of all YTF, $6.40). The soup is very flavourful and the chilli is sedap!

Queue is the longest of the whole hawker. Waited for around 15-20min on a Sat morning. We bought 2 bowls of $5 (prawns, chicken, cockles and bean curd). Generous amount of ingredients! Not the best laksa I’ve had though. But I will eat again if the queue is not so long.

They also sell the round type of pancakes but I was too late to try other flavours (yam, black sesame, green bean) so only have red bean left ($1.20 each). Mochi-like skin is good!
