Must visit unique cafe in Singapore - @fangkocoffee !
Fangko is famous for their Smash Chimken! Here, you can choose your preferred spice level, which ranges from Level 1 to Level 21!
Here is what we tried:
-Wet Indomie with Chimken ($11): If you love creamy slurpy noodles, get the wet indomie version! Comes with shrimp crackers and an onsen egg too! Opted for level 1 spice and it was already kinda spicy for me!
-Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($14): This grilled cheese sandwich blew my mind and it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever tasted! This sandwich is filled with creamy avocado and topped with lots of shredded cheese! I think there was some marmite on the toasties as well, which elevated the taste! The whole combination is so good!
-Fangko Melaka Brew ($6): This coffee blew our mind! Have not tasted such fragrant coffee before! Rich and aromatic! For non-coffee drinkers, this is a good cup of coffee to start off with!
-Butterfly Lychee Soda ($7): Pretty colours and super refreshing!
A very enjoyable dining experience! They have quite an extensive menu, and I will be sure to check out more of the other dishes!
We are loyal supporters of tiong bahru bakery!
Have been eating their croissant and kouign amann since they opened in Singapore more than 10 years ago! 80% of our past visits are to the Raffles City outlet, and one time to the Funan Mall outlet! For this trip, we decided to check out the outlet at Fort Canning Foothills! What we expected was a tranquil calming peaceful kind of vibe at the foothill.. but we were soo wrong haha! We visited on a weekend morning, and it was wayyy too crowded and noisy! But lucky for us, when we reached there were no queue to enter. When we left, there was a snaking long queue of more than 10 pax waiting outside to enter to dine in! o.o
Had our usual croissant ($4.20++) and tried a new item we have not tried before, green tea croissant ($6.50++)!
Crispy buttery flaky croissants!

We got the chunky chicken croissant and sourdough toast, which comes with creamy mashed potato. Very delicious! We also got an iced taro latte and tropical iced tea (mango and peach) for the hot weather!

Have eyed these brownies from @thebackyardbakers for the longest time since before circuit breaker period! They now sell brownies by per piece (no longer need to buy one whole bag!) There was no queue when I arrived on a weekday late morning and all flavours of the brownies were still available! Tried the banana nut crunch ($6.2) and premium hojicha ($6.3)! Preferred the banana nut crunch coz it was sweeter with the honey cereals! The banana slices in the brownie made it more moist! The hojicha one was slightly bitter and less moist. The brownies were super gao and thick and one slice is more than enough for sharing between two pax! Must say this is one of the nicer brownies I have tried in Singapore! But it is slightly pricey at $6+/slice so it shall be a once in a blue moon treat!š #bundtbythebackyardbakers #thebackyardbakers
Churros was made and fried on the spot so it was hot! But I found it weird that normal sugar was sprinkled on it instead of cinnamon sugar. Got the purple yam dip as well which was quite an interesting dip! #burpple #burpplesg #churros #yamdip #centralclarkequay #churrerialalola #churrerialalolasg #food #foodiesg #sgfoodie #whati8today #8dayseat #vscofoodie #iweeklyfood #foodporn #foodstagram #vscofood #foodphotography #sgmakan #sgmakandiary #sgfoodstagram #singaporeeats #exploresingaporeeats #exploresg #whatsgoodhere #sgfoodie
This is red cane leaf with crunchy water chestnut bits! It is my first time seeing such a drink! It was a very thirst quenching drink and I actually liked eating the crunchy bits of the water chestnut! Slurrppppsss! ā¤ finally able to roam outside to play, after being cooped in the house for 3 whole weeks since returning from hanoi!
.
And once again we were cheated by the sakura cola, it is just colouring and chemical extract. Hahaha no more green tea/sakura/whatever other flavour cola again. It just tastes like cola to me š #burpple
Reminiscing schooling days. Sea salt caramel used to be my default option whenever we head there after exams during JC days! š #burpple
(On a side note, chili's lunch portions have shrunk since 2 years ago..) #burpple
