One of the better food court chicken chops. The chicken chop is pretty large and tender as it is battered like how ayam penyet is made. You can choose your sides and have fries instead of the bread. Worth a try!

The salmon was dry, as expected of any food court salmon dish. Even with the sides of fries and coleslaw, somehow this was not filling. Do try the fish and chips instead, which they are better known for (other outlets). This was $10.90.

Jem, 50 Jurong Gateway Road # 05-01 (Koufu food court)

There's a new Fish & Chicks outlet at JEM!
I expected Mexican spices instead of what you can see in the picture - an explosion of nacho cheese sauce. That was bit disappointing and woww that was a lot of sauce. There was also a brown sauce which tasted a lot like the one used with mashed potatoes.
The chicken was not dry, so I don't understand the point of drenching it with two sauces. There was a thick layer of skin underneath, so in the end I was still hungry. It wasn't filling. Even with the fries. Which, btw, were nicely seasoned.
Try the main fish and chips here instead! They should be better.
This was $8.90

This was SOOO much better than normal beef burgers at McDonald's, BK or whatever. Even some Carl's Jr. burgers if you compare the price.
This was just $6.90 and it comes with fried AND salad! Honestly so super impressed by this food court stall.
The beef patty is no ordinary patty. It has herbs and spices inside and it's the right amount of peppery. It's doesn't taste like rubber like those burgers in McDonald's. Definitely must try this!

This was sooo delicious! Normally I don't like carbonara as it's too heavy for me. But this is so garlicky and with loads of bacon, I can't not like this. Really surprising for a food court pasta since it's actually better than Pastamania(which is not great). A must-try if you are at Westgate! $6.90
Btw it comes with an egg - something like an egg drop pasta. It's all mixed in in this pic so you can't really see it.

Fried fish, potato and tofu. The tofu was different from other nasi padang stalls as you can see. It was not dry like usual and came with a orange coconut creamy gravy. It was interesting. The diced potatoes were nice. The chilli was great. However, the fish was so dry, it was hard to eat. The chicken curry was nice. $3.50

This was from a new stall at this food court. I was intrigued by the name as I love spicy food. You can choose the level of spiciness: not spicy, mild, medium and spicy. I went for the medium as I wanted to have a peaceful sleep at night. It was not that spicy. The noodles were flavourful and so was the pork. The crushed peanuts complimented the dish well. However, it was quite oily, especially at the end. Way too oily. I couldn't eat it.

$6.50

This is from the Vietnamese stall. Although the noodles looked white and plain, they were actually very flavourful. The grilled chicken was also well-cooked and properly seasoned. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a healthier option as it it is loaded with fresh lettuce, shredded raw carrots and beansprouts! I'm definitely coming back for this.

At Famous Thai Street Cuisine, this is really good! It's $5.50 and there is a selection of chillis to choose from. The red one here is sour and spicy while the green one is slightly sweet and spicy. The chicken was alright, nothing special.

At $3, which is around the usual chicken rice price, this was rather decent but nothing extraordinary. The chilli was surprisingly spicy and I loved that, but it could have been more balanced.

$5 but I added an egg so $6. I didn't really like this. Regretted it and didn't finish it. Go to the Fish and Chicks stall if u go here instead!

A huge bowl for $5.50. The noodles were not the regular ones. They looked homemade. Short and uneven but well-cooked! The curry was gingery and tasty! Love curried potatoes so I was glad to have two huge chunks
