The waffles provided a salty contrast to the ice cream. The rum and raisin ice cream was packed with rum-soaked raisins that really packed a punch! Had a much better experience here a second time around. 😊 Would recommend.

I’m addicted to Juju’s açai bowls ($8.80)!! I’ve ordered delivery for these bowls twice this week already. They are so generous with the açai and I really love how the crunchiness of the mulberries and cocoa nibs contrast with the smooth açai. The peanut butter on the frozen banana is also so creamy and delicious!

I would actually say this açai bowl is better than those found in Project Açai and Haakon! The açai seems less mushy for some reason and I prefer the toppings here. The usual berry toppings (like strawberries) are oftentimes sour and not very enticing at those places.

It’s clear why everyone says Hvala is where the quality matcha is. There’s a really strong matcha flavour in this drink. I got the drink with less sugar and it was very refreshing! I don’t recommend getting matcha drinks with no sugar as quality matcha can be very bitter.

Had the ice cream waffles with double scoop (speculoos and salted caramel) for $12.50. The ice cream flavours were both light and paired well with the waffle. The waffle was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside - the mark of a well-made waffle!

Beautiful ambience inside the cafe too! Definitely a must visit for a day out with friends ☺️

I’m not a big fan of crumbly, cakey cookies (more of a fudgy girl myself) so I didn’t end up finishing the cookie. However, I did really enjoy the milk cereal ice cream and the mermaid ice cream. Would recommend a sorbet to go with the cookie, as the milk cereal + cookie combination felt a bit heavy for me.

Really enjoyed the pistachio ice cream!

My friend had the chocolate houjicha and green tea roasted rice

Got the soft serve + dough (original / oreo), 3.50 each with Burpple Beyond. Dough was delicious and nicely textured, with specks of salts interspersed in the dough as a nice contrast to the sweetness of the dough. But after a while, I felt a bit ill hahahaa. It’s amazing how one small scoop of dough can really fill you up!

I actually found most of their flavours quite bland (not sure if it was because I was a little ill that day). The most striking flavour was the Valhorna chocolate which was rich and amazing but it rapidly melted in the heat! If you’re looking for a lighter flavour - my friends got the butterscotch and Milo flavour

The Strawberry Balsamic seasonal flavour is a must try

The charcoal waffle didn’t just taste like your basic waffle + food colouring - which I appreciated. The ice cream was very sweet though (I got the Hazelnut) and my throat was a little sore after I ate my scoop.

Prices are reasonable for ice cream + waffles!

Sit by the railings if it’s a breezy day, it’s really quite nice there

With Burpple Beyond, each double scoop waffle cost about $6, which is reasonable! Tried the speculoos, Hokkaido milk strawberry, charcoal vanilla and Dutch orange chocolate ice cream. Liked the Dutch orange chocolate the most. This was a surprise though the other 3 flavours were the recommended ones

Got the Oolong Tea Latte and Matcha Latte with Burpple Beyond! The tea wasn’t sweet (which is great cos matcha latte’s are usually very very sweet)

The place was cosy (like a place to talk over drinks with friends).
