Asli village is a hidden gem that serves up a plethora of authentic Malay and halal thai cuisine. My nasi Ayam Merah was satisfying and tasted very homely. Absolutely loved the sweet tomato chilli sauce drizzled all over the chicken. Veggies were absolutely yum as well!

Tucked away in a corner of Queenstown is this hidden gem. Came at about 12pm and was greeted with a long queue. Simple and delicious nasi padang which tasted really homely! The Uncle and auntie were really sweet and friendly as well. Do come and support them!

In my opinion, I’d have bebek penyet over Ayam penyet any day! The duck was fried to crisp and was flavourful. For those who can’t take spice well, beware of the chilli as it packs a punch.
