Personally I liked the Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Soy (S$3.90) more than the Brown Sugar Pearl Chocolate Soy (S$3.90), but I could be biased because I like all drinks and desserts with green tea/ matcha. 🍵😋

Happy Saturday! Finally got my hands on this drink from Chi Cha San Chen (吃茶三千), one of the latest bubble tea shops that hit our shores recently. Originating from Taiwan, it prides itself for its high quality tea leaves and how all its drinks are freshly brewed to order. .
Having tried this highly coveted drink (you need to see the queue when it first started!), I would say that the fresh milk used was a clear winner. Nonetheless, if you are someone who likes drinks with strong tea aroma, this may not be for you - especially given the price. Nonetheless, there is no harm trying out the latest trends and finding out what today's youngsters like! 😉

Bober Tea opens their 2nd store at Bukit Panjang Plaza (#01-23)!

Cold drinks like these offer a refreshing respite in the summer heat and my favourite here is the Hokkaido Chizu Mango. The milk/ cheese was not overly strong and complemented well with the fresh mango bits. I heard that the Brown Sugar series is good. For students, present your Student Card to enjoy a $2 Milk Tea with Pearl! 😜

We tried Jollibean's new summer drinks! The chocolate version was topped with oreo bits, while the strawberry one came with real chunks of strawberry.

I preferred the fruity strawberry one. Imagine drinking a strawberry milkshake, but minus the guilt. Great choice for those who are lactose-intolerant (ask for yours to be without creamer). 👍

It's only now when I am reviewing my photos that I realise that I had arranged the drinks in corporate reporting/ traffic light colours - red, yellow and green! I swear it was just coincidental, or perhaps done by my subconscious mind. 😅
