Visited OFC a couple of times but never tried their jeon before! Pleasantly surprised by their kimchi pancake - itโ€™s not the crispiest, as the middle is chewy, with a decent amount of tangy kimchi. I almost thought it was too thick and soft, until I reached the edges which were thin, crisp and lightly browned! Overall the textural contrast was pretty appealing although Iโ€™m the sort that loves really crisp pancakes. I wouldnโ€™t mind giving this another order or trying their other pancakes along with the chicken.

Bibimbap is an iconic korean dish, and itโ€™s no surprise that Seoul Yummy would offer it as part of their set menus for 2-3 pax. If you donโ€™t mind the dishes on the set menus, itโ€™s actually pretty worth it to go for them along with the choice of sides and drinks.

This dish is served in a hot stone bowl, like an authentic korean eatery. They also provide four different Banchan with your meals, which are all refillable as youโ€™d expect from a korean restaurant. You can choose the amount of sauce youโ€™d like to pour in and mix it into the rice and veggies. While I like a thick sauce, I found it a bit hard to really mix it into the rice and dishes, so I ended up using some soup from another dish to help mix everything more evenly. Even though I did that, there were quite a number of clumps of rice that didnโ€™t get much sauce still. Tastewise, itโ€™s quite a decent bibimbap dish. Chicken is also tender and nicely marinated. It wasnโ€™t the most fragrant, but it was affordable in the set menu.

Note that thereโ€™s a few ways you can save money at Seoul Yummy:

1) Order from their set menu if thereโ€™s no particular dish that you want from the regular menu, itโ€™s cheaper than ordering ala carte

2) Seoul Yummy has a membership system where you can order from your table by scanning a QR code, get your credit card details ready. If you order via the QR code, you get 10% off the bill versus ordering with the staff

3) Seoul Yummy is on ShopBack - do remember to check from time to time if they have offers! They were on upsized cashback last week at 35%, but have since resumed their regular cashback rates.

These cute takeaway bottles are available at the cooler at the cashier counter. Even if the drinks werenโ€™t that fantastic, I would buy them for their bottles anyway - theyโ€™re flat and even cuter than the Chun Cui He shampoo bottles IMO.

I wasnโ€™t particularly impressed by the black milk tea. The taste of the tea wasnโ€™t very strong and it seemed to be more milky than anything else. Would rather take the matcha latte anytime, which is probably consistent with their specialty as a matcha cafe anyway!

Forgot to take a photo of the matcha latte bottle before we downed the drink so a photo of the cooler will have to do!

I tried the hot matcha latte at the cafe itself which was good. Fortunately, in comparison, the cold takeaway matcha latte is able to hold its own as well. Youโ€™ll have to shake the bottle before drinking as the matcha does tend to sediment at the bottom. I did find the matcha taste to be weaker than the hot latte I had but maybe it was just that batch? Still a nice drink to grab and go if you pass by that area. In any case, the bottle is adorable so I would buy it for that reason alone too! ๐Ÿ˜‚
