Food That Are A Yay

The cha Shao had a great meat:fat ratio, well charred and caramelised with the sweet, smoky taste while still tender and juicy. The noodles were average but had a good springy bite although slightly too oily. The chilli was bomb, it was so umami probably due to the use of dried shrimp, lard and other flavourful ingredients. DEFINITELY try if u are in the area
Very crispy and yummy! But this is not the only good thing there, I personally LOVE their pork chop, dumpling noodles, mentaiko tofu and lu rou fan! A really hidden gem with good service, agreeable prices and tasty food! They also have healthy options that I absolutely like - a bowl of mixed veggie noodle soup. Comfort food done with a homey touch!! Do support them! (:
The dishes are all really yummy and tasty at a very affordable price for the quality and quantity. Special mention goes to the cashew chicken (that is far superior than their competitor), Tom yum seafood soup with their generous amount of seafood and the Thai style tang Hoon. Also, their service is TOP notch. Really friendly staff that were very thoughtful especially when they took the effort to get a chair with backrest for my grandma.
The salmon was well flavoured and flaky although the rice vermicelli was just alright. The sauce that came with it was soy-based (?) and tasted boring. The soft shell crab taco was done quite nicely, crisp and tender and goes well with the dallop of guacamole. Although unpictured, I highly recommend the bahn mi instead!!! The bread is well toasted and they are very generous with the filling. Definitely give this place a try if you’re craving for some Vietnamese food.
