Available in hot or cold, I went for the hot version and it was pure comfort.
The taro balls and sweet potato balls had the perfect chew with just the right amount of bounce, neither too firm nor too soft. The smaller, softer pearls provided a nice contrast, balancing the texture beautifully.
The taro chunks were creamy and naturally sweet, while the red beans were soft without being mushy and just lightly sweetened.
Not too sweet overall. A warm, cozy bowl that’s perfect, especially on a rainy night 》NT$65

The minced pork rice (肉燥飯) was satisfying, with fluffy rice topped with a rich, savoury minced pork sauce. The pickled vegetables on the side helped cut through the richness, which was much needed.
The braised pork belly came as a thick, juicy slab of tender pork. The meat was beautifully braised and melt-in-the-mouth soft, though it was definitely on the heavier, greasier side for my breakfast palette.
The braised pig trotter was full of flavour, with soft, gelatinous skin and fall-off-the-bone meat.
Overall, everything was tasty and well-executed, but personally a bit too heavy for an early morning meal. Would definitely come back. Maybe I should have it for lunch instead.

The dry noodles were simple but comforting. Springy texture, nicely tossed in sauce without feeling too greasy, and topped with a portion of minced meat. The savoury sauce clung to every strand, making it really easy to slurp up.
The pork bun is a must-try! Soft, fluffy, and packed with juicy pork filling. Warm with a hint of sweetness, it delivers that nostalgic flavour that instantly feels familiar.
Loved the spicy wantons. The chilli oil brings just the right amount of kick without overpowering, while the silky dumpling skin encases a well-seasoned, meaty filling.
Ending the meal with the wanton soup. It’s light, clean, and homely. Each plump wanton is a little pocket of comfort, floating in a clear broth that soothes with every sip.
Definitely a spot I’ll come back to when I need a comforting start to the day.
