Tried the chicken for the first time instead of the usual fish and was pleasantly surprised! Chicken skin was crisp, meat tender and the teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet or overpowering.
Extremely worth it at its price point as this Atka Mackeral is quite a large fish. Alot of bones, but they are easy to separate from the fish. It also isn't an oily fish, so you wouldn't feel jelak even after eating the entire dish.
Each charcoal grilled fish set comes with a nice pot of rice, onsen egg, kimchi and free flow salad buffet. Buffet contents vary day to day.
2nd time having this dish here - really like the fish-fat ratio without it being too oily like most salmon belly. Each charcoal grilled fish set comes with a nice pot of rice, onsen egg, kimchi and free flow salad buffet. Buffet contents vary day to day.
Tomi sushi is one Jap restaurant that never fails to satisfy when you're craving fresh sashimi/sushi and authentic Japanese fare. The set lunches are especially worth it - and this particular one is my go-to everytime I'm here. Super fresh toro, and soba that is extremely chewy - just like the ones in Japan!
Paid $69.90++ per pax on a public holiday for the premium wagyu buffet dinner with free flow drinks. Opted to go for the pure BBQ without the steamboat to maximise grilling space. Overall satisfying, but concluded that the Gyu Kaku (non-wagyu) buffet meat was more satisfying though this buffet did offer a wider variety of food like sashimi.
Unagi was grilled nicely with a slight crisp and avocado was sufficiently ripe! Don was nicely seasoned with furikake and bonito, though egg was abit on the runny side.
