😍 Char Kway Teow cravings satisfied. First time trying this popular CKT.

Ordered their largest portion at S$6 which is suitable for 2 persons to share.

Taste was good, neither overly sweet or salty to me. The kway teow and noodles are fried in dark sauce with cockles, eggs, pork lard pieces, lup cheong, fishcake, beans sprout. Expect long queue for this.

[Temporary located at Chinatown Complex Food Centre as the Zion Riverside Food Centre is currently under renovation]

😁 Yong tau foo bee hoon with laksa gravy (S$3.80). Have been craving for hot foods since the weather has been cold. (6pcs YTF with bee hoon cost $3 add laksa gravy $0.80).

They were generous with the bee hoon. It looks dry but because the laksa gravy has soaked into the noodles, its really yummy.

❤😋 BRAISED DUCK KWAY CHAP feast in Chinatown. The food was good!

Ordered a variety of items; pickled vege, eggs, tofu, braised pork belly, pork skin, braised duck and 4 bowls of kway chap. Total cost around S$24. Value for money for this quantity and quality.

The highlight was the tender duck meat and tasty sauce, the chili was nice too. Recommend 👍.

😃 Old school wantan noodles (S$3). Al dante egg noodles mixed in dark sauce. The egg noodles had a nice bite and the wantons were tasty. The char siew however was very average. Overall not bad at this price.

🔥Fried dumplings (S$5 for 12pcs) at People's Park hawker centre. Nicely fried crispy layer with juicy meat and chives fillings. Good value for $5 😆.

😋👍 Famous Yong Tao Fu (S$4.50). This is my fav YTF in Chinatown. You can't miss this stall as the queue is always really long. The queue moves fairly quick as they only serve one item.

You get the standard 10pcs YTF. Place your order and let them know your table number (best if you seat near the stall) and they will bring it to you.

The soup is full of flavour even though it looks clear, not too heavy and the YTF is fresh. Must try if you come to this hawker centre for lunch🔥👍.

😊 Simple bowl of yong tau foo (S$3) for lunch.

Theres 4pcs YTF with bee hoon. I always see a long queue for this. The soup is light, clear and not oily.

They use ikan bilis to make the soup base and some fried ones added over the noodles. Theres no sweet sauce, only have chili sauce. If you prefer a light meal, you can go for this.

Commando Dessert (S$2) at Changi Village. Quite a unique name for a dessert. Its actually red tea jelly and longan on shaved ice. Refreshing way to cool down after eating heaty foods like satay. It was not too sweet. This is the one of their signature dessert at this stall.

😊 Yummy Hokkien mee (S$5). Cooked to order, noodles were silky smooth and so flavourful after soaking up the tasty prawn stock sauce. This is the slightly wet kind of hokkien mee, which i like. Delicious and will eat this again 👍.
