Small Bites 🥨
While Mahua doesn’t charge service tax, the service was excellent. Very attentive manager watching over the queue and directing us to the seats. Food were cooked in mere minutes and served piping hot.
The skewers (chicken) were excellent. The green pepper was fresh and the chicken was nicely charred! The seasoning was also on point. Would definitely recommend.
Ordered the Bolognese Linguine ($8.90) upsized! (+$2), along with a side of mentaiko + cheese fries and iced lemon tea.
Pasta was cooked perfectly; bolognese sauce was also really yummy - it has alittle heat from their pepper. Iced lemon tea was homemade with sugar syrup added. Mentaiko was torched in a little serving bowl. Fries were really crispy. Food was overall great!
Service was nice and courteous. Tried ordering paprika wings but it was sold out - the table next to us had managed to order the last serving and it smells ahmazingggg. The staff informed us that stocks ran out for the weekend.
Waiting time for the food was long however. I think they were short on manpower/kitchen was too small.
Definitely order this dish! Stir fried with cai po, beansprouts, leek and prawns, this dish was fragrant and addictive. The carrot cake cubes were crispy outside and soft inside.
I thought — egg mayo and fried chicken, what a simple dish. I was mindblown when I bit into it. This is frekkin yummy please order it and try it.
These chips were phenomenal! Thinly sliced and fried, the batter was crisp and fresh; I couldn’t stop popping these into my mouth. The beer washed down the luncheon chips well too. It was going 1-for-1 during happy hour at night.
The crust was crisp, enveloping the soft morsels of beef. The sauce complemented the crust so well. When served, it was warm and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed this alot!
