Their rice is cooked in a crabmeat tomato broth giving it a strong crab flavour. Maybe a bit too strong for my liking though. The scallops were cooked well as they cut like butter. Only complaint was that the clams tasted very briny.
The noodles were chewy and the broth was spicy. The beef was mostly tendon tho. Will try their other noodle dishes next time!
I really liked this for how mushroom-y it was. The pesto and pine nuts also elevated the flavour of the mushrooms
Not sure if I would pay $80 for this again, but it was worth a try after seeing it so often in Hell’s Kitchen. The pastry wasn’t as buttery/flaky as I thought it would be which makes sense as it would have masked the flavour of the beef.
Pleasantly surprised that the sashimi cubes were pretty fresh!
The pita bread was really soft and the ingredients were seasoned really nicely. The light atmosphere of the place was also one of the highlights! Will go back
We shared the classic ham, cheese, mushroom and egg galette as well as their goat cheese one which comes with roasted peppers and fresh basil.
Both were tasty but the goat cheese one became overwhelmingly salty. Would still go back because the staff were superb and I want to try more flavours!
We had the 4 course set which excludes amuse bouche and mignardises for $58++. I have nothing much to complain about the quality of food. The house-made bread and butter was delicious. Atmosphere was light and I could sense the sincerity when the head chef consistently rushes out to send guests off. Would love to go back for another meal!
Had this at their outlet in Jewel and it was great. But this disappointed me quite a bit because it got overwhelmingly salt. Seems to be the case for this outlet as my friends who have dined here previously gave the same review.
