VFM Western Hawker Food

As mentioned in our last review, here's the picture of the wild mushroom soup we ordered.

Oh gosh what a hidden gem! The ambience of this hawker centre by itself is just suitable for a Friday evening. There were music, smells of BBQ, and it is an absolutely pleasant place that doesn't cost a fortune to catch up with some friends.

Back to The Naughty Chef, as an avid lover of blue cheese, it is just pure joy randomly stumbling upon a place that offers the unique blue cheese as fheir cheese base. Most importantly, they aren't even stingy about their portion. It was simply mouth-watering and with the natural saltiness of blue cheese, initially we thought that adding a slice of ham would not do good. But we were so wrong. It was a perfect combination!

The truffle fries is worth a mention too, it was freshly fried and the truffle portion was very generous which allowed us to fully enjoy the deep musky aroma. The wild mushroom soup was rich and thick, accompanied with a crispy garlic bread for dipping.

Honestly, its too good that we just have to share.

We'd really rate it a 9/10 with our fussy tastebuds!
