First time trying an orh nee tart. It was quite a challenge to find the bakery but it was worth the walk. We arrived at about 11am and there were only 3 orh nee tarts left 😨 shows how good these tarts are. So I had pretty high expectations even before trying. And yesss they are really good!! The yam paste is very smooth and not sweet. It was just nice. They are very generous with the orh nee too. Even after finishing the entire tart I didn't feel jelak at all. Truly orh nee perfection. I wish it was served hot in a bowl with coconut milk. Just cause I prefer orh nee this way. But that said the pastry was on point too, nice, crumbly and buttery. Worth a try!!! I'll prolly be back for more.
