Our favorite one would definitely be their matcha flavor, despite it being milder versions that I’ve tried, we loved how the ratio of cream to bun was a consistent 2:1 and how they did not scrimp in the fillings department. Overall, the taste was not overly sweet and very very yummy.
The custard cream is irresistibly oomph with its awfully light and sweet interior. I love the crumbly and crispy exterior actually, giving the puff an extra sweet crunch when eaten altogether.
We are creatures of habit and I absolutely love and will order this each time we’re here – pistachio (+ $1) x roasted hojicha! This combination sent me to ice cream paradise and these lil balls of happiness are both very pronounced in terms of flavor.
Pistachio was creamy yet not overly dense while roasted hojicha was the yummiest with a strong aftertaste of green tea and just so nutty. It paired so well with their freshly-made thyme cone!
Fluffy and soft swiss roll in chocolate swirls, I’m a bias cake-holic. Before you all claim, “aigoo, kaya is the nicest la!” I love that too but I like how the chocolate is not even sweet at all which made it not cloying, even after my 3rd roll 🌝
Got the medium bowl ($8.5) to try and it was heavenly. The heat sapped every last ounce of energy we had and having this ice-cold, creamy and wholesome acai bowl was a brilliant idea. There were generous chunks of granola with cacao nibs and swirls of almond butter on top!
