Signature category: Haddock fish & crips ($16.90++). Wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised with the ASMR action. Fish was freshly fried, crunch was on point and tasted fresh too. Crips was alright, but can get a little greasy after awhile. Sauces were a nice touch - lemon butter, cheese, tartar and curry (I think). Overall a good meal and will recommend for fuss free fish & chips cravings!

Seasonal special: braised buta don ($16.90++). Great charred flavour and overall pretty yummy. Supposed to be pork belly but it tasted more like pork jowl instead? Nevertheless flavour was there and portion is just right for a small eater. You could top up to make it a meal.

Visited the classic astons and got the black pepper chicken chop ($10.90). Not much to shout about. Decent and fills your tummy. They changed the mac & cheese pasta from a shell to a penne. Pasta was a little overcooked. The rest was alright.

Wanted to grab a quick fix and decided to try out this pizza place. Got the pepperoni pizza ($9.90) and it didn't disappoint. Cheesy goodness! Pizza base was also not too shabby. Will visit again!

Got the medium diy poke bowl ($$15.40) that comes with 2 scoops of poke and 4 toppings. Love the variety of poke offered (salmon, tuna, scallops, prawns, chicken and tofu etc). Got the scallops and chicken - both was really yummy! Only downside here is that the number of toppings offered is only limited to 4. Would be better if more toppings are offered when we opt for a bigger poke bowl.

Hidden cafe nestled outside of Changi City Point. Got the linguine americane ($24++)- seafood reduction of lobster and crustacean broth. Very umami and great for seafood lovers!! Seafood was fresh but portion is a tad small. Would eat it again!

Got the drunken lala beehoon/tanghoon soup ($7.90). Generous amount of clams in each bowl. Clams were very fresh, soup was clean tasting and you can taste the alcohol too! Overall a good meal and will probably consider eating it again if I am in the area.

Hidden mala tang shop within the dying cineleisure mall. Charges by weight ($2.80/100g) and there's several soup base to choose from. Ingredients are fresh and mala soup was not overly seasoned or oily. Be sure to get the chili sauce!! Definitely gave the soup alot more depth and flavour. Will definitely return again!!

Mapo don ($10.80++) - you can choose from 3 levels of spiciness. Went with level 1 and was just for you to enjoy the taste of the dish. Mapo tofu was pretty ok, but can can kinda salty (and v thirsty) afterwards. Overall pretty overpriced for tofu and probably won't return.

Ordered the ramen with prawn dumplings ($14.50++) and the ebiko prawn paste ($15.50++). Broth was rich with prawn flavour and both dumplings and ebiko balls were delicious. However, it can get jelat after awhile. Highly recommend to complete your meal (additional $3.40) for a side and drink. Apple black tea was tasty but I think might be better to opt for the vinegar drink to cut the richness of the broth. Overall damage was about 40++ for 2 pax. Pretty reasonable and would return again (tho not so soon).

A simple Taiwanese meal! Ordered scallion chicken rice, braised pork rice, plum fries, chives & pork dumplings and a lychee earl grey tea. The unassuming boiled dumplings was a surprise! Juicy and delicious. Plum fries and braised pork rice was okay not too bad. Preferred the scallion chicken rice to the pork. Comes with a plate of chicken that taste exactly like chicken rice chili haha. Overall a decent meal and might visit again if I am in the area and need a quick fix.

Used burpple beyond 1-4-1 and ordered the Old Skool Bowl ($10.90). Ingredients/toppings were freshly made and luncheon meat retained its crisp. Broccoli was nicely seasoned. Comes with a bowl of miso soup too. Overall a simple and filling meal! You literally get full and then you stop munching afterwards.

Btw they have a daily lunch set meal which is pretty value for money too imo. $9.90 for rice bowl, soup and a drink.
