2021 Sharon’s Savours

Ordered the Da Cheese Master... beef patty is quite juicy but I felt it’s quite pricey for such a small burger. Also the fries had to be separately ordered - seems overly fried with the oily crunch.

It’s a bbq feast with the various grilled meat kebabs, veggies, sweet toast etc ! Good place to go with a group of friends to enjoy more variety of the different kebabs and best to go with a cooling beer! Burps!

Had some tea and snacks (fried mushroom fritters, ice cream + waffles) while having a good chat by the Bedok Reservoir was quite relaxing and chill to spend the afternoon.

Portion is quite big for 5 pax takeaway. The star dish would be the duck which is really succulent and flavourful. The Lala Bee Hoon is also tasty and not too dry. Charcoal tofu is soft and goes well with the eggy pumpkin sauce. The sauteeed prawns would be the easily forgettable dish as it doesn’t seem to agree with my taste buds.

Cute designed buns can be ordered separately from the ala carte dim sum buffet’s menu. Don’t they look too cute to be eaten? They are the liu sha bao, cha siu bao and mushroom bao in disguise 🧐

Most of the dishes we had are really tasty. It was ala carte weekday buffet and the place is quite full already. Seems the staff are short handed when we tried to get their attention to order more dishes along the way. Overall a value for money buffet with good quality of food!

A sweet treat to end the night! Moist nutty cake that’s not too sweet, I can easily eat the whole cake! Anyway didn’t manage to take a picture of the pastas we had but they are wonderfully al dente and yummy to taste too👅

Yummy and flavorful ramen less than $10 at ntu canteen!

Did a takeaway brunch for a gathering. The portion is big for the platter... the pancakes are soft and fluffy! And the best thing is they are open quite early before 11am for my early gathering.

The quality of food explains the long queue as always. This is definitely one of my fave places to get my tonkatsu fix - soup and salad, even the rice is refillable! It’s really worth the bucks and makes my belly happy!

Interesting and tasty waffle that’s so soft and fluffy! Goes well with the coconut ice cream! Can’t remember what’s the other flavour we ordered but overall it’s a nice dining experience at the cafe!

1-1 deal with Burpple was quite worth it! The chicken rendang is soft and blue pea rice is fragrant too! Comes with the homemade achar which is fresh and crunchy to taste!
