very homely and comforting but ingredients could be more generous

pretty decent sized prawns and the cereal coating was so fragrant and crispy. but prawns after cooked were less juicy than i would like

super generous with EVERYTHING!! there was so much seafood (squid, prawns, fish, fish cakes) plus the amount of bee hoon was nuts... the soup was not bad quite salty and a bit like a chicken soup base?? nothing special. i think what made it stand out is rly the generous portions given it’s a restaurant setting!! this is a zi char place so they also serve individual zi char dishes alongside the ala carte rice and noodle dishes. def worth a try.

all the mini bowls were really mini. gotta get a few to fill you up. they were all pretty authentic and homely! the sides were good. fried chicken SO crispy and well seasoned.

super good broth, solid noodles, tasty well sliced lean beef shank with no overly beefy taste & perfectly cooked eggs. so worth w burpple one for one but if not they have lunch sets on weekdays at like $10 i believe

this was so good!! silky cubes of soft tofu complemented by the salty and tasty century egg. nice spicy kick from the chilli oil too

pretty good until you eat too much then the taste becomes kinda flat and one dimensional but the broth is very thick and rich and it’s a very very comforting bowl of noodles

super good tender beef slices well marinated in black pepper sauce but tends to be a bit oily. very well done beef that even my mum liked and she doesn’t eat beef!! no beefy taste at all

could do with more braised pork for sure but overall ok. good broccoli and even better rice.

p worth w burpple one for one!! generous quality ingredients. a very hearty meal. my sis loves the pork belly. it melts in your mouth and is very tender. pretty well executed wanton noodles
