Staff not aware of Burpple app. I showed her the app but she wrongly told me I was unable to use the offer on 5 Aug. Told me only applicable on 8 Aug. Turns out she is referring to the Beautea 1-year birthday promotion (1-for-1) on 8 Aug.

Al dente noodles topped with savoury minced pork and sliced cucumber which offered a refreshing change of flavour.

Had to get the usual XLBs as well which was served as a set of 6. The dough was thin but a little wet for my liking but it was packed with flavourful filling and broth.

Served as a set of 3, choose from original ($4) or prawn ($5) fillings. Expected the buns to be similar to char siew bao but the interior was packed with soup but could’ve had more filling. The exterior was exactly like char siew bao, having a fluffy and airy texture.

Ironically ordered the salmon despite it being known for its steaks. The salmon was a decent portion, having a super crispy exterior and juicy interior. Topped with creamy dill and leek sauce, this gave the dish a unique kick which made it even better.

Will definitely go back, this time to try something that they are recognised for, steaks.

Used the 1-for-1 promo and overall bill was about $19.80 inclusive of service charge and GST. Both dishes were decent. I loved the added touch of sauce for the cajun chicken and the cheese slice on top of the cheesy chicken. Service was excellent. The lady that attended to us made us feel very welcome, and she was the only one attending the front lines; so do be patient with her.
