Waffles
Overscoop has opened a new outlet in Orchard Central! Nestled on the 2nd floor, this beautifully decorated cafe comes with spacious tables and comfortable seating to chill and catch up with friends. Though they’re mostly know for their ice cream and waffles, they also offer acai bowls and salad bowls 🍦
We tried their Mochi Waffle ($8) with Cookies & Cream ($5) ice cream, plus their Teriyaki Overbowl ($12.80). The mochi waffles were really exceptional, the centre of the waffle contained a really stretchy and gooey white mochi while the rest of the waffle was crispy. The textural contrasts were just A+ and I really liked how their mochi waffle contained actual mochi and wasn’t just made with glutinous rice flour. Cookies & Cream ice cream was really nice too! It was creamy with generous bits of chewy crushed cookies. Suuuper good.
We weren’t that impressed with the Teriyaki Overbowl unfortunately, the portions were very small in relation to the price and it wasn’t very filling. I did enjoy how healthy it was, both in taste and in ingredients, but it wasn’t nearly hearty enough to justify its steep price.
Would definitely return for their waffles and ice cream, I think that’s what they’re known for too so its better to stick to that.
🧇 Waffles with Strawberry Compote, Vanilla Ice Cream & Granola ($15.90++)
The waffle was pretty soft and fluffy, and was well complemented by the tart strawberry compote and sweet vanilla. I really liked the crunchy granola bits too! A pretty solid waffle and its quite decently priced compared to their other menu items.
🧇 Waffle Stack ($19.90) (8.7/10)
For $19.90++, you're getting 3 waffles with scrambled eggs, bacon and maple syrup. My friends were adamant that these are the best waffles in Singapore, and I must concur. The waffles are really soft and fluffy, and they taste like they have been soaked in maple syrup beforehand, but without the sogginess. Dont know how tf they made the waffles so good on their own. The savoury elements are pretty meh, especially the scrambled eggs, which had a slightly overcooked consistency. But yes, waffles are so bomb.
🧇 Pandan Mochi Waffle & Ice Cream
📍OnlyCreamery (@onlycreamery)
📌 Chinatown
💰 $19
Yes, Titus Low's new ice cream cafe that opened on 6.9. What a genius. Ya'll may think that this is just a gimmick but this dessert was actually super solid (rock solid iykwim hahahaha). My favourite element of the presentation is how the 2 scoops of gelato are stacked on top of one another and lowkey resembles an erect penis. Very fitting 🥵
🧇 Coconut Pandan Waffles ($8)
These waffles have a strong pandan aroma and a delightfully chewy, mochi-like texture! The colour may resemble radioactive neon green toxic waste but it tastes damn good and doesn't hold back on the pandan flavour.
🍓 Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream ($11 for premium double scoop)
Really liked this too, the strawberry taste is natural and strong, the cheesecake elements aren't as evident but they're noticeable. Plus it melted into a creamy thick white liquid yum yum
💚 Roasted Pistachio ($11 for premium double scoop)
Nothing I love more than devouring salty green nuts so ofc I enjoyed this too. Strong nutty aroma with bits of crushed pistachio within, my friend didn't like this but personally as an avid enjoyer of salty nuts, I loved this.
I was very satisfied by my dessert at OnlyCreamery. The price is pretty reasonable and standard for an ice cream waffle cafe too, so I'd return. Don't need OnlyFans just need OnlyCreamery 👌
Thank you Titus and co. for filling me up with your huge creamy balls. Also got to meet Titus kor kor so that was probably the highlight of my week🔥🔥

🧇 Waffles ($8.90++)
These waffles are soft and fluffy with a crispy exterior. They also come with maple syrup and butterscotch sauce, really good!
