๐ฅ I am a huge sucker for dumplings, gyozas, baos, you name itโฆ so couldnโt miss trying @gyozasan_singapore in @sunplazamall
The ultimate destination for Japanese comfort gyozas, these babies are pork-free and lard-free, and I bet you won't find flavors like these anywhere else ๐ But that's not all, their menu also features an amazing selection of bentos ๐
The wait was around 7 minutes (takeaway only, sorry no dine-in ๐), and we saw that they were hustling non-stop with multiple delivery orders (they now offer island wide delivery at https://order.gyozasan.com/)

The set includes teriyaki chicken, 3 original gyozas and kimchi (kinda random as totally wasnโt expecting this combo haha)
The teriyaki chicken was the star of the show, bursting with flavor and tenderness that left me craving for more. The original gyozas were also noteworthy with a plump and juicy filling cooked to perfection.

Loved these little bundles of joy! The oh-so-fresh sizeable prawns brought a subtle sweetness to every bite, while the chicken added depth and richness to the filling

My friend brought me to Singapore's largest outlet @immoutletmall for great deals from sportwear/fashion brands (including Nike, Charles & Keith, Furla etc) and we ended up discovering the new branch of @chankooden here!
We had the pleasure of sampling (that promo is already over though) a piping-hot bowl of umami-packed dashi broth, infused with the irresistible blend of bonito and kombu ๐ฒ It was love at first taste, which was what lured us to try this comfort food!
Out of all the 20+ options available, we got the below ingredients and were incredibly satisfied and gloriously stuffed afterwards
- White Radish SGD1.5
- Seaweed Knot SGD1.5
- Chikuwa SGD2
- Chicken Cheese Ball SGD2
- Lobster Ball SGD2
They also offer baked sweet potatoes (SGD 2.9-3.5), which is the ultimate healthy snack after a long day of shopping!

It took us some time to make up our minds as we wanted to try everything, but we finally decided on:

This was the perfect combination of two huge succulent shrimps and a generous serving of fresh sashimi, topped with loads of seasonings! The creamy mentaiyaki sauce tied the dish together with a wonderful richness.

Topped with a small mountain of bonito flakes, the grilled salmon had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was simply divine.

The seasoned cod roe worked wonders to sharpen the distinguished flavour of the scallops, which lay on a bed of seaweed salad.

We saw that almost every table ordered this silky steamed egg, which was definitely worth the money, as it was full of succulent pieces of shrimp, squid, and even abalone.
