Wok-tossed Laksa and Dry Mee Siam Wok-tossed Laksa ($12) and Dry Mee Siam ($12) Both noodles are fried with seafood and taupok/taukwa and they taste pretty similar. They are not bad, but didn’t leave much of an impression~

Bakwan Kepiting Bakwan Kepiting ($6 per portion) Meatballs of pork, crab and bamboo shoots are served in a chicken broth that is packed with flavour - love this!

Ayam Goreng Ayam Goreng ($11/22) The deep fried marinated boneless chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Zen Garden (Hot)($9) Caffeine-free. Floral and minty. A botanical blend of peppermint, chamomile, melissa leaves, blackberry and strawberry leaves, lemongrass, hazelnut leaves, marigold blossoms, rose petals, and lavender. True to its name, soothing and layered.

Organic Rooibos (Hot)($9) Caffeine-free. Smooth and earthy. Made from a South African shrub known for its antioxidant properties. A calming herbal infusion with a rust-hued finish. An hourglass was provided to time the steeping.

Duck Shit DanCong Oolong (Hot)($10) A roasted oolong from Chaozhou’s Phoenix Mountains. Despite its name, it’s highly prized for its floral aroma and lingering sweetness. Pale liquor with fruity notes. Slightly astringent for me. An hourglass was provided to time the brew.

Sala Soda with Lime ($5.50) A fizzy, refreshing drink with a sweet floral aroma and a cooling tang.

Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango ($12.80) The quintessential Thai dessert. Soft, chewy glutinous rice drizzled with coconut cream, accompanied by smooth, sweet, and fruity mango slices.

Thai Milk Tea Pudding ($6.80) Excellent! The rich and intense Thai milk tea flavour paired perfectly with the sweetened milk drizzle for an indulgent treat. The texture was somewhere between a wobbly pudding and a mousse, creamy, dense, yet soft, light, and delicate.

Seng House Tried the beef burger, fried squid, and pork chop — all were really good! 🍔🦑🍖 The burger was juicy and flavourful, the squid was crispy and not too oily, and the pork chop was tender with a nice char. Simple, tasty, and super satisfying!

Great Food, Generous Portions, and Friendly Service Particularly enjoyed the chicken rice with the charred rice — the brown bits added an extra depth of flavour compared to regular chicken rice. The portions for all dishes were generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely café to relax and hang out with friends.

Crispy squid tentacles is a must try! Came here for dinner with my partner. Price is a little on the higher side but food is definitely superb! Ambience is also great, perfect for a date night! I got the fried squid, pork chop and double smash beef burger. Squid was definitely a must try! Super crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Perfect for squid lovers. Pork chop was unique and a twist from a normal one. Should definitely give it a try!

Great date night location Cosy and intimate space with the background music setting the tone but not overpowering. The lemon ginger sprits was very refreshing and a good balance of flavours. Had the lamb loin and it was cooked perfectly and true to the doneness required! The service was amazing as they explained each dish to us before we order and as they served the food. They are also always checking in to see if anything is needed or required. Overall a great experience and definitely reccomend it for a cute date night 😊

Wonderful datenight restaurant Greatly enjoyed the meal! Steak was very well cooked to temp and the smokiness from the woodfire really makes them standout from other restaurants. Sides were very well done too and not to mention a good selection of wine to pair with the food! Staff was really friendly in explaining and recommending too.

Dinner very interesting concept - love how they use wood fire for cooking and variety of different ferments they use to elevate their dishes. had medium rare wagyu and iberico and both were so good - the wagyu was beautifully cooked with a perfect char that gave way to buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and the medium rare Iberico was equally indulgent, elevated by a delicious in house fermented garum and a burnt onion skin puree. will be back to try more!

Amazing seafood We ordered a bunch of a la carte dishes and everything came out super fast. The salmon tartare was spicy, fresh and really good, served on some puffed rice cracker of some sort. The bread was soft and crisp, and the seaweed butter was super tasty, kinda like seaweed soup. The prawn toast was the best dish hands down. Juicy plump prawns with great flavor and a nice crunch. Must order. The octopus was tasty too, nice grilled flavor with sambal belacan, soft but not mushy, with some chew. You can definitely tell its fresh. The lobster paofan looked great and the lobster was super fresh with strong flavor. Overall amazing food and super quick service. Definitely coming back for a special occassion.

please get the prawn toast i know it’s $$ but so worth it super yummy! very nice ambiance for date nights or corporate hangouts tbh esp considering the location - def have to agree they’re more midrange prices expect like a $40/ pax pricing but trust. so good. the salmon tartar + prawn toast is a MUST try - they were super fresh & they held different taste at the same time; like this complex lovely taste coming altogether 🥰🥰😭 surprised at how the octopus was grilled nicely too and not at all rubbery which is common outside - literally saw the head chef constantly check the internal temperature HAHAHAH

Tender Ribeye The 200-day grain-fed Stockyard ribeye with nam jim jaew was a highlight — exceptionally tender and beautifully enhanced by the accompanying salt. The snow pork tsukune with cured egg yolk introduced an intriguing flavour. Closing with the burnt toast ice cream sandwich, accented by banana crumbs and mint, brought a refreshing sweetness that rounded out the meal with finesse.

Iced Pistachio with Dragon Fruit Taro & Ice Cream ($7.80) Frozen pistachio puree topped with small taro balls, pistachio nuts, osmanthus jelly, dragon fruit taro balls, lychee popping boba, and vanilla ice cream. The puree has an icy texture, but the pistachio flavour is muted by the toppings. Still a sweet and enjoyable dessert, though a stronger pistachio taste would elevate it further.

Black Glutinous Rice with Coconut Milk & Ice Cream ($6) Served chilled. Thick, creamy, and semi-solid black glutinous rice laced with coconut milk, topped with ice cream for extra sweetness. The rice is properly cooked, not burnt, and handled with care. You can feel the al dente bite. Comforting to the mouth. They really know how to cook up traditional dessert.

Signature Pistachio Paste ($7.50) Served hot. Do check availability before dining in, as this item has limited stock daily. It’s delicious, pure pistachio with crushed nuts. The flavour is strong and nutty, and the texture is semi-liquid with a moderate viscosity. They use traditional methods like pestle and mortar to grind the pistachios into paste before slow-cooking it. Rare to see the younger generation preserving old-school techniques when modern tools are so readily available.

Yummy Duck Leg Config! I visited Market Bistro a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious every dish was. From the sharing plates, we started with the Baby Squid Fritters, which were flavorful and perfectly fried (light, crisp, and very enjoyable!). The Irish Duck Leg Confit was exceptionally tender, with deep, rich flavors that paired beautifully with the smashed potatoes and mushrooms. To finish, the New York Cheesecake struck a lovely balance of sweetness and tang from the accompanying fruity jams. It was a delightful end to a well-executed meal. I would definitely recommend this steakhouse for its quality dishes and inviting communal dining concept.

Bombz Tiramisu Thus tiramisu was game changing for me. The hit of espresso truly woke me up from a drowsy post work blues. Pair it with some wine, and it's truly a pick me up!

Yeast Side Had sucg a great experience at Yeast side! The focaccia bread was absolutely delicious! The drinks were fantastic too! had both the iced hojicha latte and caramel latte and both were perfectly balanced and smooth! Definitely worth coming back for more!

The beef was a reliable, foolproof choice, while the crab focaccia stood out as something unique — definitely worth a try! Price is reasonable as you will be full afterwards too!
