Beef Bulgogi and Bafun Uni Beef Bulgogi and Bafun Uni ($26) – A sweet and savoury creation that was absolutely foolproof, featuring 16-hour smoked beef brisket simmered in bulgogi glaze and transformed into “meat marmalade,” served on toasted, buttery brioche.

16-Day Dry-Aged Kingfish Loin with Green Goddess 16-Day Dry-Aged Kingfish Loin with Green Goddess ($30 per 100g) – Another large plate to anticipate. The aged kingfish loin, served two ways, was wonderfully executed. Half was presented clean with a savoury, smoky whisper. In contrast, the other half was dressed in a tasty, tangy, piquant green sauce made with red wine vinegar, green chilli, coriander, and finished with a punch of fish sauce. Very luscious.

Jumbo Tiger Prawns, Sakura Vermouth, Burnt Leek Oil Jumbo Tiger Prawns, Sakura Vermouth, Burnt Leek Oil ($56) – Flame-grilled, fresh-tasting, and meaty. The jumbo tiger prawn was nice, but my favourite part was the buttery cream sauce and drizzles of leek oil, which added a bright, caramelised flavour. What a treat at One Prawn & Co with their 8-course dinner line-up ($100++ per pax, minimum two diners)! Think signature wood-fired grilled seafood, dry-aged fish, and bold, punchy, umami-packed plates curated with an Asian modern twist by Chef Gwyneth.

Hearty Korean Crunchy Potato ($17.90): Visually impressive, great portion, and first bite was full of flavour and crunch. However, you start to realise the outer part is the nicest, towards the middle the potato became more clumpy and one-dimensional. Korean Tofu Stew ($16.90): Flavourful and chockful of tofu, veges, and beef slices. Perfect with rice (+$3). Honeycomb Makgeoli ($13): Less honeycomb and more just-honey, but still very enjoyable. Banchan: Trio of seaweed, braised quail eggs, and kimchi. Quail eggs were so so good. But they seemed to only refill once; the staff proactively helped us to refill the first time but seemd to ignore the empty banchan tray after that. With Burpple, the stew was free which made this a really value-for-money place in the heart of Clarke Quay. Will return again to try the other dishes!

Lechonsita - Our Signature Suckling Pig, Tomato Relish Lechonsita - Our Signature Suckling Pig, Tomato Relish ($42/ 100gm): Another taco-esque number. Prepared with chickpeas, sofrito, cooked onions, vegetables, and Iberico pork, the rich-tasting protein was exceptionally done - good by itself, even better with the condiments. I wish there were more skin crackling, though!

Arepan Conejo - Braised Rabbit, Bacon, Parmesan, Cassava Wrap Arepan Conejo - Braised Rabbit, Bacon, Parmesan, Cassava Wrap ($38): Much like a punchy pulled pork taco with the flavourful braised filling. It didn’t look like much, but the sauce was stellar. Very savoury and the rabbit was superbly tender!

Sopa Langosta - Lobster, Avocado, Sweet Corn, Potato Soup Sopa Langosta - Lobster, Avocado, Sweet Corn, Potato Soup ($50): I was honestly expecting more from this pricey bowl. The soup felt more like a sauce with its consistency, but the flavour was a little mild, as most of the sweetness came from the slightly charred corn hidden at the bottom. Kept fairly raw, the lightly poached lobster was nicely executed, though - succulent and fresh-tasting with that sashimi quality.

Truffle Somen with Ikura Morinaga's signature dish is undoubtedly their truffle somen with ikura. Thin al dente wheat flour somen noodles are served cold in a truffle soy sauce dip and topped with spring onion and ikura. It is light, refreshing and slurp-worthy! Whilst the ikura and spring onion give this dish bursts of umami and herbaceous flavours, I recommend having it with some wasabi to give it an additional spicy kick.

Deep Fried Octopus You don't really find deep fried octopus in most restaurants in Singapore so it's a must order whenever we see it. I like its addictive chewy texture and mellow sweet flavours. And more importantly, I would like to believe that it is a healthy alternative to deep fried chicken!

Grilled Miso Pork Tender juicy pork glazed with sweet miso and chargrilled to perfection is the perfect antidote to a dreary work day. My only complaint though was the small portion!

Bread pudding One of the best bread pudding I’ve had ever!

Cheesecake Lovely cheesecake paired with strawberries and a zesty drizzle.

Iced Coffee Milk Served in a tall glass but only filled about three-quarters, quite visually underwhelming. Likely made with G7 Instant Coffee, which they also retail. A fuller pour might dilute the taste, but the current presentation could be improved with a better glass to fit the volume of the coffee or just fill it to the brim.

Papaya Milkshake Thick, creamy, and full of papaya flavour.

Pho Tai Vien ($10) Slurpy flat noodles with loads of sliced beef, beef balls, herbs, and bean sprouts in a bowl of savoury soup. Quite a huge bowl. It was okay tbh. Nothing amazing, but damn filling. Slices were big and chewy but lacked seasoning, so dipping into the provided sauce helped. Beef balls were small, easy to eat, and absorbed the soup essence well. Bean sprouts were generously given, almost a 1:1 ratio with noodles.

Amazing Dinner Food was amazing, staff were also quite attentive and nice to go through the menu with us. The dry aged meat is quite distinct and tasted amazing. Would definitely come back

Dinner at Ingleside Found this gem online and so glad to have tried their steak😌😌 its very very gooood and I love how the staff took time to go through the concept of the store with you!

Waygu picanha in shio koji marinade Upon entry, I feel the warmth of the wood-fired grill. The ambience is pleasant and relaxing. I begin with sourdough, the crust is thin and chewy and its crumb light and airy. It pairs well with split-pea miso butter which was smoked over apple wood…so flavourful! The wagyu picanha is amazingly tender, rich in flavour and incredibly juicy. Its unique umami is elevated by shio koji marinade, seasoned for 48 hours, and grilled over a mixture of apple wood and ironbark wood. The lemon ginger spritz goes well with the meal, lightly fizzy and refreshing. Besides the delicious food, the service is warm and personal, making the dinner really enjoyable.

Huge tacos Very generous portions here! Had a lamb ($12) and chorizo & beef brisket ($10) taco. Unexpectedly hefty in terms of the meat portions so two was enough to fill me up where I’d typically need three smallish tacos to do the trick. Preferred lamb more, it was seasoned well, though my only gripe it’s the whole 1/5 tomato inside it. I’d have preferred if it was diced as it made the eating experience a bit tricky. Otherwise thought it was reasonably priced for the amount of meat given!

Prawn taco 10++ Outrageously priced for this tiny thing. You can neither see nor really taste the prawn. Waste of money

Pork belly tacos 10++ Big portion, huge piece of pork belly but unfortunately overall it's below average. Pork belly wasn't tender, wasn't crispy, the chicharrons were super stale

Awesome Izakaya spot Food and atmosphere was amazing, nice place for a date or just to relax with friends! Ordered the beef, crab potato gratin and unagi which I highly recommend. Drinks were nice as well

Melt in your mouth wagyu and juicy short rib skewers Shukuu Izakaya’s Tochigi Wagyu A4 skewer is a must-try—super tender, buttery, and full of umami. The beef short rib skewer is just as impressive: juicy, flavourful, and grilled to perfection. Perfect spot for top-notch kushiyaki in town!

dinner and drinks we enjoyed our dining experience here! they have a good selection of food and drinks and we had some unique dishes that we’ve never tried before! would recommend this place for a casual dinner and drinks

Mala Chicken 辣子鸡 A signature and popular Sichuan dish that features cubes of chicken coated with spices and fried until golden brown and crispy along with tons of dried chilli and Sichuan peppercorns. It is spicy yet addictive. Be warned of the electrifyingly spicy and numbing sensation. I personally couldn't take the original level of spice and requested a less spicy 少辣 order which was still numbing and spicy on an acceptable level. 📍 Chuan Wei Yuan 川味園 | #01-1076

Pickled Mustard Fish 酸菜鱼 Sour and spicy broth with pickled mustard greens (酸菜) and fish slices. The yellow-green broth is made with various kinds of pickled veggies such as pickled mustard greens, pickled chilli peppers and pickled ginger. The fish slices are super tender with a velvety silky texture and zesty taste. The portion is good for sharing and it comes with glass noodles in there. Dry Pot Cauliflower 干锅菜花 A classic dish from Sichuan cuisine that features crispy cauliflower florets stir-fried with bacon, garlic, scallion and chilli peppers in an aromatic savoury sauce.
