Mazesoba set deal Came to try the set meal, but there are no savings from the normal menu. I think the noodle was not the best, compared to other mazesoba outlets. The sauce is ok and the ice lemon tea was nice. But the noodle and tofu were very average. May not come back since I can find better mazesoba at similar price points. I would say this deal is good for people who like tofu and eggs.

Surprising cheesy dry udon The CheeseZilla Chicken Udon was a gooey, delightful mess of stretchy cheese and incredibly tender, flavorful chicken. The Salmon Miso Soup was a pleasant surprise, loaded with big chunks of salmon and fresh vegetables.

Bad Pancakes salmon ahumado pancakes were dry and not fluffy. weird corn inside too. the mariscos marinara galettes was so drenched with a very salty sauce over a barely visible crust which became a soggy mess to even pick up and eat with hands or cutlery.. not going to eat here again..

Exclusions Not Clearly Communicated, Meh Food Quality, Poor Customer Service As the subject suggests, this is my 2nd visit after 3 years and I’m reminded why I haven’t patronised since. Waiter at the entrance has no idea what burpple is and the way he replied wasn’t helpful. After placing my order with another waiter, he came back after 5 minutes saying baked pasta wasn’t included + dozen more choices were not included. (He came back to take my order again - told me to be faster after 1-2 min because he has a lot of things to tend to - yes his words) Fine print only stated sharing platter as exclusion. The place was almost filled so that explains the long wait time but the food were definitely below normal standard. Thanks burpple, I’m never coming back and saving my $15.90 that I’d spend happily at MacDonald’s.

Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger From Morganfield’s The Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger is a culinary masterpiece, expertly grilled and glazed with a rich hickory BBQ sauce. Hearty Korean Noodles Tried the Half chicken Noodles, Big rib bone noodles, pork bone spicy noodles, and kimchi pancake. Noodles were all around thick, robust, and nicely chewy. Perfect with the different variations of broth, ranging from the lighter chicken broth to the more intense pork bone broth. The meat portion was also really generous, though do be prepared for a tad bit of messy eating (though they thankfully provided disposable gloves). The accompanying sides of kimchi, pickled radish, and barley rice was also welcome. As for the kimchi pancake, it was decent but we've had better elsewhere so just get it if you're craving it!

Half Chicken Noodles ($18.50) I decided to order as it's one of best selling main w noodle. But it's quite warm and plain texture for soup broth for me as I was just recovered from flu and sore throat. But the chicken texture was tough and plain especially chicken breast. The texture for knife cut noodle was not that bad or hard and got chewy texture. They included rice with garnish and seasoning; banchan (kimchi & pickled daikon radish); free flow barley tea.

Kimchi Mandu ($5) we shared add on as most people will be order kimchi mandu before ordering their mains (noodle). I felt that kimchi mandu was a bit spicy aftertaste.

Spicy Crab Pappardelle | $24 Chilli crab pasta with cherry tomatoes, bird’s eye chillies, topped with shredded cheese and green pesto.

Crispy fish tacos $25++ The dish was served really quickly. There were 3 tacos, with crispy taco shells that tasted like nacho chips, with one piece of fried halibut fish tender in each taco, topped with some mayonnaise and mango salsa. It was overall very flavourful, with many different flavours from the mango, mayonnaise and sauce. The fish itself was fresh and tender and crispy on the outside. There were also fresh curly fries and salad which were all delicious.

Chili Crab Pasta $26+ Portion was quite generous, and the chili crab given was also very generous! Flavour wise was not too salty and spicy, tasted like tomato-base with some chili, served with pine nuts, which added a crunch to the dish.

1-for-1 Pastries We got the 65% and 75% brownie/lava cake. Both were.. a little smaller than expected - about 4.5cm by 4.5cm (used a ruler). Worth it with the Burpple but I doubt I'd get it without the 1For1 offer. For the brownie, it's warm, very sweet and chocolate is thick. It's a little fluffier than expected considering I expected brownies to be pretty solid. The lava cake is molten, not the flow-out-of-the-side kind. Consistency is smooth. There's a generous dusting of powder on top. They're both rich in chocolate. Fitting of the store name.

From slow start to savory evening - our pizza express experience! After a slow start to the week, my wife and I decided to wind down the evening with a quick bite at Pizza Express, accompanied by some beer to relax before heading home. We started with a serving of baked chicken wings while waiting for our main courses which we have ordered seafood pizza and Linguine al Granchio, which we planned to share. The combination turned out to be an excellent match. The linguine was generously topped with steamed crabmeat in a spicy cream sauce, beautifully finished with caviar and a touch of lime. The seafood pizza didn’t disappoint either. It came loaded with prawns, squid, mozzarella, capers, and olives, all on a base of flavorful seafood tomato sauce. The crust was thin and crispy just like the ones we enjoyed back in Rome few years back. To complete the meal, we paired it with some ice-cold Corona beer, which complemented the seafood flavors perfectly. We enjoyed the dinner so much that we’ve already decided to bring the kids back this coming weekend.

Awesome pizza in town ! We decided to try the Seafood Pizza, and it did not disappoint. The thin crust was perfectly crispy with no burnt edges, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. The chicken wings that followed were tender and packed with great flavor. To finish, we had the Linguine Vongole, beautifully cooked with white wine, giving it a light yet savory taste. Overall, everything was simply awesome!

Yummy pizza Just had dinner at Pizza Express and I’m still thinking about it 🤤 The pizzas came out piping hot with that perfect thin, crispy base — every bite had the right balance of crunch and chew. The toppings were fresh, generous, and super flavourful. Service was quick and friendly, and the place had a nice, chill vibe — perfect for a casual night out or catching up with friends. 10/10 would go back again, probably sooner than I should 😂

Mentaiyaki Ebiko Dry Udon From Tamoya Udon & Tempura Chewy udon, creamy mentai mayo, and savoury toppings like roasted shrimp roe, onsen egg, and juicy beef. Also added more seaweed, pickled radish and fried fritter crisps. Side dish pumpkin tempura simply complete the meal. Not bad indeed!

Back again for 1 for 1 Came back again for the 1 for 1 and have the Truffle Tonkotsu Udon now. Really good and strong truffle taste

Grand Opening 1 for 1 Came here due to their grand Opening 1 for 1 and I like it. I had their signature Jiro Tonkotsu Udon while my friend had Sanuki Beef Onsen Egg Udon. The Jiro Tonkotsu Udon soup broth was fragrant and strong in flavour. However, after near the end, the soup got saltier. Overall however, still a good dish and would come back for their 1 for 1 sometime around this week to explore more dish

Always enjoy myself some hitsumabushi And the 3 ways to eat it. Love it with the broth. It's v well grilled here, charred at the right places and crispy. Queue is long on a Friday night. Waited at least 45min. (~$25 per pax)

Good unagi hitsumabushi Kaisen hitsumabushi @ $18.80++ It's quite difficult to go wrong with unagi don so i would say this is quite average. Pricing was alright but would have preferred a bit more unagi and sashimi. The sashimi was alright though I wouldn't say it's super fresh.

Kaisen Hitsumabushi ($18.80)  One my favourites is kaisendon and this combines both by having unagi and sashimi. The unagi was char-grilled beautifully and have a nice crisp texture with a tinge of sweetness from the sauce. The hitsumabushi can be enjoyed 3 ways - start with savouring its original taste, follow by complementing it with condiments; and lastly, add dashi and transform it into an ochazuke fare. A nice comforting and warm meal overall.

Salad Salad

One for one salad bowls One of my go to healthy bowl. They have a one for one deal for lull periods which is go worth — $11 for two very hearty bowls. My go to bowl orders is the portobello mushroom (crusted portobello with cheese) which is so juicy. With pasta & broccoli (mala flavoured) & corn cucumber salsa and the carrots or soft boiled egg.

Yummy food Recommended place to have dinner. Food is delicious and services are good. Staff is patient to wait for me to make a decision on the various options available.
