Zha Jiang Mian ($6.3) Of the dishes we tried, this was probably one of our favorite as the noodles were cooked to an al dente texture. Apart from the minced meat in braised sauce, there were also braised tofu cubes sitting above the chewy noodles. The sauce was however rather oily and they could have drained some of it away before serving.

Golden Osmanthus Pineapple Tart From KELE 桂花黄梨塔 Only $38.80 per tin, approximately 850gm. Deliciously fragrant pineapple tarts with a delightful twist, highly recommended for a unique and flavourful treat. It is a joy to get it here with the friendly service crew from the flagship store.

Boozy mooncake The avocado was clearly the better flavour, like ice cream! Can’t really taste the booze in the rest but the skin and filling was decent. Not too sweet. Could be more flavourful tho.

Noodles with Braised Pork Chop 大排面 The pork chop came with bones, which made it more tricky to eat than I’d like. The noodles were alright, nice and chewy, but the sauce felt too mild and lacked the rich, punchy flavour I was expecting. Overall, it just didn’t come together as I thought it would 》$9.20

Oriental Wanton with Black Vinegar & Chilli Oil 红油三鲜馄饨 Was hoping for more from this. The wanton skin was way too thick, making each bite feel heavy and doughy. The vinegar and chilli oil were there, but the flavours still felt muted. Without that punch of heat and tang, the whole dish ended up feeling pretty underwhelming 》$8.60

The Tee Deck offers alfresco dining by the poolside, showcasing Thai street food and seafood dishes, such as this wholesome steamed barramundi fillet served with a nam jin green chilli garlic lime sauce that added a sweet, spicy and sour kick to the tender morsels of mild-tasting fish. Plaa Takrai Talay $22 A refreshing pick-me-up that’ll wake the senses with hits of sweet and sour spiciness and the aroma of mint, the seafood salad’s base of crunchy green mango strips is accompanied by tender morsels of fish chunks and plump, juicy prawns. Taste: 3.5/5

Squid $19 Deep-fried to perfection, the light and airy batter is resoundingly crunchy and the fresh squid rings still maintained their succulent integrity. Lightly seasoned and tossed with fragrant curry leaf, it’s served with a spicy and tangy green chilli dip. The perfect poolside snack with beers. Taste: 3.5/5

Pan Fried Bun ($6.30) It's so good and delicious for the pan fried bun and inside filling. As it's my second time to try it out for pan fried bun tbh.

Noodle With Minced Pork In Bean Sauce ($7.60) not bad but then the noodles was slightly soft to chew through tbh. But the sauce texture was quite thick tbh.

Moo Sab The 𝗧𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗯 ($8.90) was a crowd favourite. Mixing the raw egg into the minced pork made it luxuriously smooth, and we were left craving for more of this heavenly dish.

Signature Platter I thought I’d get a breather between Christmas and Chinese New Year, but the feasting never stops. Tee Ruk Mookata, hidden in an industrial building near Bukit Merah Central, is a revelation. The 𝗧𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗸 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 ($68.80) consisted of a plethora of proteins, including pork belly, pork collar, prawns, scallops, beef hanger, smoked duck and assorted vegetables amongst others. The meats were all masterfully marinated and we couldn’t fault any of them.

Tee Ruk Mookata - Not bad meats and fresh seafood! [INVITED TASTING] Tee Ruk Mookata serves up fresh ingredients with unique items such as Moo Sab, which is marinated minced pork with egg yolk, for you to have a joyous mookata bbq. We had a variety of ingredients, from seafood like fresh prawns to meat ingredients like sliced pork and beef. Their $68.80 set consists of a variety of meat and vegetable ingredients and can feed perhaps 4 small eaters or 3 medium eaters. We tried a few ingredients that were not part of the set too, and I particularly loved the Moo Sab ($8.90) as it was like a tasty meat pancake after grilling. Great add on to try with friends! Most marinated meats were tender but we wished that the marination of meat can be heavier for a stronger flavour. Not bad of a mookata bbq, can visit if you are around the area!
