A generous serving of tender meat with potatoes roasted in duck fat. The salsa-like dressing was excessive. Try the crab meat crustacean pasta ($28) too! Note the dress code and inconsistent service though. #burpple #jacksonmiller #singaporeswimmingclub #sgfood #sgfoodie #sgrestaurants

Plump whole scallops in the shell and bacon are smothered in a creamy sambal sauce then oven baked till juicy, sweet and tender. The sauce attains a deliciously charred finish and the whole affair is tasty as hell especially when washed down with a beer.

Fresh veggies simply prepared turned out to be so yummy and crunchy

This is at Jade Phoenix the Chinese restaurant that took over Kam Boat. 3rd time eating here. First off, a delicious appetiser to start us off. Definitely not the usual salted egg yolk or plain fish skin that other places have. Not overly fishy or sweet. Goes very well with the fried julienned ginger.

This is at the Jade Phoenix Restaurant @ SSC, whose chef used to come from the famous Hua Ting restaurant. Fish skin fried with Salted Egg is always a (sinful) delight. Reminds me of the Salted Egg Sotong from Old House, but Old House still trumps this :p

Once again, it's the time of the year for Yusheng! This is at the Jade Phoenix Restaurant @ SSC, whose chef used to come from the famous Hua Ting restaurant.

Quite a lot of breakfast items to choose from! Whether it is Western or Chinese or Indian cuisine. The one I tried (as shown in the pic) was surprisingly good and there is even free flow of coffee and tea! Pricing quite reasonable as well~ But sadly this place is only open to members :(

Sometimes it's really not about what you eat, but who you eat with that makes a meal so good :)

This was delicious especially eaten together with the sliced ginger. Very aromatic. Good as a beer snack too!

nothing was spared, especially the savoury gravy that went so well with white steamed rice.

Char bee hoon has wok hei. Not bad.

Laksa here is lemak.
