This was refreshing & fruity as expected! I asked them to use this gin in the picture above (as opposed to the sloe gin, which I was afraid would be too sweet for me). Felt more balanced this way.
I was fairly early, & on an apparently-odd day to be drinking (one of the rare bars that are open on Sunday). Delightful conversations ensued while I sat at the bar, which started my evening on a really good note.
One of the bartenders, Tog, walked me to Curator (where I had another booking for drinks) after, which he didn't have to, but that was so thoughtful & appreciated!
My experience at The Blind Pig was nothing short of lovely (& that is not euphemism for anything). The OG speakeasy, as I'd read, so incognito that they aren't even on Instagram & I canβt find a location tag to tag them at. (Also had to add this new listing on Burpple π)
While wandering the streets, I noticed the door as I turned the corner, but walked right past it. I then asked the nearby guard (he seemed to be used to the question) how to get there & he pointed that thatβs the correct door. So I gave it a hard few knocks & the rest was history.
